Weekend Box Office - "Men in Black III" was number one with $70 million on it opening weekend, "The Avengers" took the number two spot with $46.9 million, and at number three was "Battleship" with $13.8 million.

For everyone looking forward to "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" ... you may continue looking, The studio for some reason has pushed the movie back until next spring ... specifically, March 29, 2013. I have heard a variety of rumored reasons, yet none of them make a lick of sense to me. Why would you push the release date of any movie featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson back almost a full year. You don't push "The Rock" back. Who does that?

Scheduled for release in June 2013 "Superman: The Man of Steel" has been extremely secretive. No surprise. The movie directed by Zack Snyder is produced by Christopher Nolan, director of "The Dark Knight Rises", who is the master of secrecy. However, a few images from the set have made their way onto the internet. The two seen here are Henry Cavill as Superman and Russell Crowe as Jor-El.

Speaking of "The Dark Knight Rises", which is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of the summer, has a few new television ads with all new scenes. As the movie's release date comes ever closer we still know very little about what will unfold in this final installment of the trilogy. Which is what has really caused the rumor mill to completely explode with thoughts and theories on what the grand finale will be. Check out the trailers and draw your own conclusions.

Weekend Box Office - Number one was "Think Like A Man" was number one with a box office take of $18 million, "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" was number two taking in $11.4 million, and "The Lucky One" was number three with $11.3 million. Next week with the release of "The Avengers" begins the summer movie season and back to back movie blockbusters. Can you guess what next week's number one movie will be?

As I reported previously, AMC Theatres across the country will be showing The Marvel Movie Marathon in selected locations on Thursday,May 3 leading up to the midnight showing of "The Avengers". For those who aren't interested in being in a movie theatre for more than two hours there is an alternative. Based on what I've heard from people I've talked to I'm certain that there will be plenty of Marvel Movie viewing parties throughout the country. Why not get yourself invited to one, or you can host your own.

Here's the new trailer for the upcoming sequel "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" featuring an intro from one of the movie's stars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. If you thought the first movie was action packed, then hold on for dear life. This movie will take things to an all new level and if you think I'm kidding, wait until you see "The Rock" as Roadblock with the obligatory BFG. That's one of those technical terms I won't define here. Use your imagination.
