Weekend Box Office: "Glass" from director M. Night Shyamalan which brings together characters from two of his highly successful movies "Unbreakable" and "Split" was number one with $19 million  The Upside" the comedy-drama starring Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, and Nicole Kidman was number two with $12.2 million  "Aquaman" from director James Wan and starring Jason Momoa as the aquatic DC Comics superhero was number three with $7.25 million.

"Dark Phoenix" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 7. Director Simon Kinberg gives us a more faithful adaptation of one of the most iconic X-Man storylines from the Marvel Comics series. While on a rescue mission in space, Jean Grey is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Surviving the experience, the force makes her more powerful as well as making her unstable. Marvel Studios "Captain Marvel" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 8. The epic hero's journey of the cosmic-powered warrior is an origin story of one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Captain Marvel. Follow Carol Danvers as she discovers a life she never knew she had and the moment she discovers her true calling, evolving from warrior to hero.

                                                                                    

"Reign of the Superman" is available in stores today on Bluray/DVD and available for download on Digital. The DC Universe animated feature that follows the previously released animated feature "The Death of Superman". While the world continues to mourn Superman months after his death while locked in battle with the monstrous Doomsday, four new heroes emerge each vying to be a successor to Superman's mantle.

Weekend Box Office: "Glass" from director M.Night Shyamalan bringing together characters from his 2000 movie "Unbreakable" and his 2016 movie "Split" was number one with $47 million, "The Upside" the comedy-drama featuring Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, and Nicole Kidman was number two with $18.3 million, and "Aquaman" the highly successful DC superhero film directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa was number three with $12.6 million.

"Spider-Man: Far from Home" is scheduled to open in theaters July 5. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker and his alter ego Spider-Man. The new movie in the Spider-Man: Homecoming series finds Peter Parker joining his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. His desire to leave behind web-slinging behind for a few weeks is derailed when Nick Fury drafts him to help investigate a series of mysterious elemental attacks that are causing chaos across the continent.

                                                                               
                                                                           

"SHAZAM!" Is scheduled to open in theaters on April 5. Starring Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Zachary Levi as his adult alter ego the superhero SHAZAM. This DC superhero movie is the origin story of 14-year-old foster kid Billy Batson who through an encounter with the Wizard Shazam grants him the magic word that transforms him into a superpowered adult. When Billy becomes The World's Mightiest Mortal he is granted with extraordinary superpowers and is still a kid at heart. 

                                                                                 


"John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" is scheduled to open in theaters May 17. The highly anticipated follow up to "John Wick: Chapter 2" has John being hunted by scores of assassins coming for the $14 million price tag on his head. Alone and outgunned, he is hardly helpless and becomes more dangerous than ever and is definitely not to be underestimated. Starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jerome Flynn, Jason Mantzoukas, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanovic, with Anjelica Huston, and Ian McShane.

Weekend Box Office: "The Upside" the feel-good comedy starring Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, and Nicole Kidman was number one with $19.5 million; "Aquaman" from director James Wan and starring Jason Momoa as the often underestimated aquatic superhero was number two with $17 million; and "A Dog's Way Home" the family-friendly movie adapted from a novel by W, Bruce Cameron was number three with $11.3 million

                                                                                

Marvel's "The Punisher" Season Two premieres this Friday on Netflix with all episodes available for streaming. Jon Bernthal continues to shine as Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher, a role that originally began with the character's debut in Marvel's "Daredevil" Season Two. Frank has put being The Punisher aside and is just trying to live his life. However, a girl in the worst kind of trouble with some dangerous people prompts him to return to action and take up the fight once again. "Reign of The Superman" is available on Digital HD today and in stores on Bluray/DVD on January 29. The sequel to the 2018 DC Universe animated movie "The Death of Superman" takes place six months after the climactic battle between Superman and Doomsday. The world is still mourning the loss of Superman and uncertain about the four would be replacements vying for his title. Can these four even begin to compensate for the loss of a hero like Superman?
