Weekend Box Office - "Argo" starring and directed by Ben Affleck was number one with $12.5 million, "Cloud Atlas" the epic fantasy from the Wachowski siblings was number two with $10.5 million, and at number three the animated comedy directed by GenndyTartakovsky ("Dexter's Laboratory","Samurai Jack") "Hotel Transylvania" with $9.0 million.
 
 
 
                                                               
                                                                         
 
 
Lucasfilm will now be a part of the Walt Disney Co.who will purchase the company for $4.05 billion. As a part of the deal, there will be a new series of "Star Wars" feature films, the first of which is scheduled for 2015.
 
 
 
 
                                                                                
 
 
 
The trailer for new movie featuring Sylvester Stallone which is based on the French graphic novel by Alexis Nolent "Du Plomb Dans La Tete" was recently released and the movie looks like just the kind of kick ass action film we have come to expect from Stallone. Frank Grillo has been cast as Crossbones. He is the latest addition to the cast of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". The cast currently features Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Samuel L. On last week's "Attack of the Show" one of the hosts Sara Underwood appealed to fans to go to the "Iron 3" site and like it to unlock the teaser trailer. Mission Accomplished! The teaser dropped on Sunday. Friday night, October 26 will see the premiere of "Mockingbird Lane", an updated version of sixties classic TV series "The Munsters". NBC will actually be airing the show as a Halloween special and a lead in to "Grimm". The show directed by Bryan Singer (X-men",Superman Returns") features a cast that includes Jerry O'Connell as Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as Lily Munster, Eddie Izzard as Grandpa, Charity Wakefield as Marilyn, and Mason Cook as Eddie Munster.

    Marvel has released the first trailer for "Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United". The animated movie teams the two powerhouse heroes against the powerful energy villain Zzzax. Zzzax uses his power to take control of the armored Mandoids and a few of the Iron Man's different suits of armor to attack the heroes.    Madhouse the anime studio that brought us anime versions of "X-men", "Wolverine", "Blade", and "Iron Man" has done it again. "Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore" revists the anime "Iron Man" and adding a cast of characters that include "War Machine", "Black Widow", "Hawkeye", "Nick Fury", and "The Punisher". Tomorrow night on "Arrow" premieres on the CW. Marvel Entertainment has a direct -to-DVD animated movie planned for April 23. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United" has the two heroes going up the energy monster Zzzax. The main characters are voiced by Adrian Pasdar as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore as The Hulk, and Dee Bradley Baker as Zzzax. New on DVD/Bluray "Prometheus" the Ridley Scott "Alien" prequel. Opinions on this movie vary and people either love it or hate it. Weekend Box Office - "Hotel Transylvania" took the number one spot making $43.0 million in its opening weekend, "Looper" was number two with $21.2 million, and "End of Watch" held on at number three with $8.0 million.
 
 
 
                                                                                
 
 
 
   The latest poster for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" was released and it shows the three stars running headlong towards destiny. The final installment releases on Nov.16, 2012.
 
 
 

                                                                      
 
 
   The first trailer for "The Lone Ranger" has been released and the movie told from the perspective of Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts how Texas Ranger John Reid (Armie Hammer) became The Lone Ranger.
