"Peanuts" the beloved comic strip and animated characters created by Charles Schulz get their first new big screen movie in over three decades. The new movie gives the popular characters an upgrade through the magic of CG animation. New animation, same great characters. Don't take my word for it. Observe for yourself via the recently released trailer.

"Jurassic World" the long awaited return to the "Jurassic Park" franchise starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard opens this coming summer on June 12. Hot of the heels of the highly successful "Maleficent" we get a live action re-imagining of the classic Disney fairy tale. View the recently released trailer and see if you you find it as promising as I do.

"Peter Pan Live!" is the upcoming television event from the producers of "The Sound of Music Live!". Starring Christopher Walken as Captain Hook and Allison Williams in the title role, this program will air on next Thursday on NBC. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" opens this Friday. I'm certain that I'm not the only one looking forward to seeing how this epic movie's two-part conclusion brings the final book to life. Here is the recently released final trailer for the movie.

The CW Network series "The Flash" airs tonight with a brand new episode entitled "The Flash is Born!". Hopefully that means that he actually starts getting referred to as "The Flash" instead of silly nickname "The Streak".

"Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For" comes out today on DVD/Blu-ray/Digital HD. The sequel was not as well received as the original movie. However, if you're a fan of Frank Miller or Robert Rodriguez or both, then that alone makes this worth your while.

"Young Justice" is perhaps one of the best superhero team animated series that ever aired on television. In my opinion, it was easily a close second to the "Justice League" animated series. Season two comes out today on DVD/Blu-ray and if you haven't seen this series I highly recommend that you check it out. Here's the trailer for the one hour series premiere that kicked off the series.

This installment looks even more action packed than the previous movies in the series.
