Weekend Box Office: "The Fate of the Furious" the latest high octane installment in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise was number one with $38.4 million, DreamWorks' Animation "The Boss Baby" with actor Alec Baldwin voicing the title character was number two with $12.7 million, and Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" the live action version of the beloved animated Disney movie was number three with $9.6 million.

                                                                                 

"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" is scheduled to open in theaters on September 22. The sequel to "Kingsman: The Secret Service" the movie which introduced us to the Kingsman - an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion with the ultimate goal of keeping the world safe. The sequel introduces us to the U.S. group the Statesman and teams the two groups in order to save the world from a common foe.

Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 5. The sequel to the highly successful "Guardians of the Galaxy" follows the continuing adventures of the team of misfits. Tasked with saving the universe once again while under assault on all sides from forces that want to destroy them the team intends to prove that their success is no accident or die trying.  

                                                                                      

"King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 12. Director Guy Ritchie brings his unique style and vision to the legendary tale of King Arthur and the sword Excalibur. The movie stars Charlie Hunnam in the title role as the peasant who has no knowledge of his birthright or his true destiny as the king of legend. The movie also stars Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, and Eric Bana.

                                                                                       

Marvel's "Cloak and Dagger" the upcoming television series based on the Marvel characters will debut in 2018 on Freeform (formerly ABC Family). The series will feature Aubrey Joseph as Tyrone Johnson/Cloak and Olivia Holt as Tandy Bowen/Dagger. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" scheduled to open in theaters on December 15. The upcoming new movie in the "Star Wars" saga will pick up with Rey (Daisy Ridley) undergoing Jedi training under Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is scheduled to open in theaters on May5. The upcoming movie continues the star spanning adventures of Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot. The team is surrounded on all sides by enemies and under siege. "Alien: Covenant" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 15. Director Ridley Scott takes us back to the universe he created 38 years ago in "Alien". The newest chapter in the Alien franchise, Alien: Covenant re-explores the universe of terror and the horrors waiting to be unleashed. When a colony ship headed for remote planet, lands on what seems to be an uncharted paradise, they soon discover appearances can be deceiving and downright deadly. 
    
                                                                           

"Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" is available in stores today on Blu-ray/DVD and also in Digital HD. The latest DC Universe animated feature is based on the groundbreaking 1984 comic book story arc by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. Brother Blood and Deathstroke join forces to end the lives of the Teen Titans, both with their own sinister agendas, one for power and the other for revenge. "The Fate of the Furious" opens in theaters this Friday. The latest installment in the powerhouse "Fast and the Furious" franchise pits the team against their leader, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) , who appears to have gone rogue. Now the team has to ally themselves with one of their fiercest enemies, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in order to beat Dom and the mystery woman called Cipher (Charlize Theron) who seems to be pulling his strings. The movie also features a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell, plus newcomers Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren

                                                                        
                                                                       

Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled for theaters this November.  The upcoming movie has been described as a game changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and if the trailer is any indication that's an understatement. The upcoming trailer features first looks at Cate Blanchett as Hela, Goddess of Death, Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge the Executioner, Tessa Thompson as The Valkyrie. Also featured are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk.

"Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" the latest DC Universe Animated movie is now available in Digital HD and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on April 18. This feature length animated film adapts the classic "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" story arc from the comics by Marv Wolfman and George Perez to the ongoing animated DCU. The story was teased at the end of the "Justice League vs. The Teen Titans" animated movie with the appearance of the character Terra who plays a very prominent role.

"Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 21. The movie is based on the ground-breaking French comic book series that has served as an inspiration to writers, artists, and filmmakers for decades. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 26. Johnny Depp returns as everyone favorite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, who once again finds himself being hunted down. "IT" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Sept.8. Based on the popular novel by Stephen King that has terrified readers for over two decades.
