Weekend Box Office: Disney's "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreak-It Ralph 2" featuring the voices John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman was number one with $56 million, "Creed II" the sequel to the 2015 movie "Creed" starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone was number two with $35 million, and  Dr. Seuss' "The Grinch" the family-friendly CG animated retelling of the Christmas classic was number three with $30 million.

"The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part" is scheduled to open in theaters on February 8, 2019, Emmet and the other heroes of Bricksburg head off to space to save Lucy (a.k.a. Wyldstyle) and to stop invaders intent on destroying everything faster than they can rebuild.  Featuring the voices of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro. 

                                                                           
                                                                                 

Disney's "Lion King" is scheduled to open in theaters July 19, 2019. Director Jon Favreau (Marvel Studios "Iron Man", Disney's "The Jungle Book") retells and re-imagines the now classic animated "Lion King' in Disney Live Action. "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 14. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller ("The LEGO Movie", "21 Jump Street") bring their unique style to this animated addition to the Spider-Man mythos. Weekend Box Office: "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" the much anticipated sequel "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" set in author.K.Rowling's Wizarding World was number one with $62 million;  "The Grinch" the family-friendly CG animated movie featuring actor Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the title character was number two with $38.2 million; and  "Bohemian Rhapsody" the biopic focusing on Freddie Mercury the charismatic and talented frontman of the rock band Queen was number three with $15.7 million.

                                                                               

Disney's"Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreak-It Ralph 2" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. Wreak-It Ralph (voiced by John C. "Aquaman" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 21. Director James Wan takes us on a heroic journey with Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) as we are introduced to the wonders and horrors of the ocean, while he follows his true destiny on an adventure to take his rightful place as King of Atlantis. "Deadpool 2: Once Upon a Deadpool" is scheduled to open in theaters December 12. Just in time for Christmas the PG-13 release of "Deadpool 2" arrives in theaters. See the movie in a way that you haven't seen it before through the filtered through the prism of childlike innocence. Weekend Box Office: Dr. Seuss "The Grinch" the CG animated family-friendly movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch voicing The Grinch was number one with $67.6 million, "Bohemian Rhapsody" the biopic focusing on Freddie Mercury the talented and charismatic lead singer of the rock band Queen was number two with $31.2 million, and "Overlord" the WWII horror-drama featuring U.S.soldiers vs.Nazi created zombies was number three with $10.1 million.

                                                                              

“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”  is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The second in a series of five new adventures taking place in author J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. As promised in the last movie, Gellert Grindelwald escapes custody and begins his campaign to have wizards take their rightful place as rulers over all non-magical beings. “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is scheduled to open in theaters on May 11, 2019. The first-ever live-action Pokémon movie featuring Ryan Reynolds as the actual speaking voice of Pikachu and Justice Smith as Tim the only human who can seem to understand what he's saying. Set in Ryme City a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side this very coexistence is threatened if they don't stop the occurrence of a sinister plot.

                                                                            

"Reign of The Supermen" is scheduled to be available on Digital beginning January 15, 2019, and Blu-ray/DVD on January 29, 2019. The follow-up to the DC Universe animated movie  "Death of Superman". As the world attempts to cope with the loss of Superman, four would-be contenders for the name arrive on the scene. Weekend Box Office: "Bohemian Rhapsody" the biopic that details the meteoric rise of Freddie Mercury the frontman of the band Queen was number one with $50 million, Disney's "Nutcracker and the Four Realms" based on the classic tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann and starring Mackenzie Foy as Clara and Keira Knightley as The Sugar Plum Fairy was number two with $20 million, and "Nobody's Fool" from writer/director Tyler Perry and starring Tiffany Hadish and Tika Sumpter was  number three with $14 million.

                                                                                 

"The Girl in the Spider's Web" is scheduled to open theaters this Friday. The next chapter of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series stars Claire Foy as the outcast vigilante defender Lisbeth Salander and brought to the screen by Fede Alvarez, director of the nail-biting 2016 thriller "Don't Breathe".

"Glass" is scheduled to open in the theaters on January 18, 2019. The brainchild of director M.Night Shyamalan that brings together the narratives of his runaway hit thriller 2000's "Unbreakable" and his 2016 surprise hit thriller "Split". Bringing together the cast and characters in "Glass" and setting the stage for Elijah Price a.k.a Mr. Glass (Samuel L.Jackson) to force the inevitable clash between David Dunn ( Bruce Willis) and the deadliest of the multiple personalities that reside within Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) the superhuman Beast.  

                                                                              

Marvel's "Runaways" Season Two is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Hulu beginning December 21. The hit Marvel show that brings together a group of kids whose parents have known each other since before their births discover those very parents are not who they thought. Discovering the sinister alliance of their parents has been responsible for multiple murders and will likely bring destruction and ruin to Los Angeles and possibly the entire world.
