"X-MEN: APOCALYPSE" will open in theaters this coming summer. 20th Century Fox released the first trailer last week to the relief of a great many X-Men fans. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" promises to bring more fun to the franchise. The fans have spoken and the studio listened, at least we hope they did.  The trailer reveals an action lacked high octane movie with more humor and more than a few surprises. "The Legend of Tarzan" will help to fill out an already buffed out Summer 2016 box office season. To be honest this movie was not at all on my radar, but after seeing the trailer I'm quite intrigued. "Supergirl" airing on CBS has been an unexpected surprise. The show had been dismissed by a great many as campy when compared to the other DC superhero shows on other networks, based solely on the initial trailer. "Gotham" season 2 premieres on Monday Sept.21. After the mind blowing ending of the first season we knew the producers had some big surprises in store for us. "Blindspot" premieres on Monday, Sept. 21. A new series from Greg Berlanti the executive producer of "Arrow" and "The Flash" starring Jaimie Alexander ("Thor", "Thor:The Dark World") and Sullivan Stapleton (HBO's "Strike Back", "300: Rise of an Empire"). "The Flash" returns on Tuesday, Oct 6 and begins season two with a bang. Spoiler alert: When season one ended in amazing fashion with Eddie Thawne sacrificing himself to end the Reverse Flash and a huge singularity opening over Central City that was just the tip of the iceberg. "Arrow" season four premieres on Wednesday, Oct 7. Season three ended in such typical fashion for this show with a whole lot of jaw dropping moments. "Hotel Transylvania 2" will be in theaters on Sept.25. The sequel to the hit animated family friendly and very funny "Hotel Transylvania" sees Dracula trying to keep his daughter from moving to California, by teaching his grandson to bring out his inner vampire, with no encouraging results.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" is available in stores today on Blu-ray/DVD. Director George Miller's successful return to the character and world that he created over 20 years ago. This latest movie stars Tom Hardy as Max, Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, and Nicholas Hoult as Nux.
