"Gotham" is coming to Fox this fall. The series centers around the city and the characters that are a big part of the Batman mythos. The trailer reveals what you can expect and follows the exploits of a young James Gordon and the bond he forms with the newly orphaned Bruce Wayne. It looks very promising and I hope it lives up to that promise.

"Constantine" which debuts this fall on NBC is based on the character featured in the "Hellraiser" comics John Constantine. A reluctant paranormal investigator who sees the world in a way that very few can or even want to. This is the character as he is supposed to be and I look forward to seeing this series.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" opens in theaters in a week from Friday. I am expecting big things with director Bryan Singer back at the helm of this franchise and the joining of the casts of The X-Men trilogy with that of  "X-Men: The First Class". Singer has made no secret about following this movie with "X-Men: Apocalypse" featuring perhaps the best of all the X-Men villains. If you don't know who that is the movie's title is a really dead giveaway. In the meantime, we get to enjoy past and future versions of the X-Men in this current film.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" brings together the cast of The "X-Men" Trilogy with "X-Men: The First Class" in an epic time spanning adventure to save both human and mutant races from robots originally designed for hunting mutants. One of the most popular story arcs in X-Men comic book history is brought to life on the big screen by director Bryan Singer in his return to the franchise he began.

If you already saw "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" you already saw the Easter egg that followed the movie. A scene from the upcoming X-Men movie. In case you did already see it or you were one of the hapless many who leave the theater as soon as the credits start rolling (Really and truly, why?), Here it is. You're welcome.

"Son of Batman" is the latest DC Universe Animated movie that arrives in stores today on DVD/Bluray. The movie is an adaptation of the graphic novel "Batman and Son" which reveals the existence of a son Batman knew nothing about. Damian is the son conceived by Talia, the daughter of one of his most dangerous foes, Ra's Al Ghul. Wow! Now that's a serious nuclear family dynamic. Enjoy the trailer.
