Weekend Box Office: "Halloween" featuring Jamie Lee Curtis returning to her iconic role as Laurie Strode was number one with $77.5 million, "A Star is Born" the remake starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga was number two with $19 million, and "Venom" starring Tom Hardy as the Marvel Comics lethal protector was number three with $18 million.

                                                                              

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" premieres this Friday. Kiernan Shipka stars as Sabrina Spellman half-witch, half-mortal teenage girl who with the arrival of her 16th birthday is asked to choose between the world of witches and the world of mortals. "Midnight, Texas" Season Two premieres this Friday on NBC. From the author behind "True Blood" comes a show about the inhabitants of a remote Texas town where no one is who they seem. The supernatural lives in the town of Midnight where strange things occur and the unusual come out at night.

                                                                                  

Disney's "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 2. Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's the classic tale the movie expands on the story of Clara (Mackenzie Foy) who receives a special gift from her godfather Drosselmeyer that leads her to a strange and mysterious parallel world. Clara is suddenly involved in an exciting and dangerous adventure to bring harmony to the Four Realms and enable her to return home.

Weekend Box Office: "Venom" starring Tom Hardy as Marvel's lethal protector was number one for a second week in a row with $35.7 million, "A Star is Born" the music-laden drama starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga was number two with $28 million, and "First Man" the Neil Armstrong biopic starring Ryan Gosling was number three with $16.5 million.

                                                                               

Marvel's "Daredevil" Season Three debuts on Netflix this Friday with all episodes available for streaming. Matt Murdock returns after being missing and presumed dead for months.  Now uncertain about his future as a lawyer and that of his alter ego Daredevil, Matt will be forced to make a choice when his nemesis Wilson Fisk is released from prison, hide from the world or embrace his destiny.

"Aquaman" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 21. Director James Wan brings to the screen the heroic journey of Aquaman. Arthur Curry a half-human, half- Atlantean will begin an adventure that will force him to face who he truly is an embrace his destiny and his birthright as the true king of Atlantis.

Marvel's "Runaways" Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on December 21 exclusively on Hulu. On the run and in hiding from the law framed for a crime they didn't commit and from their parents who are all villains behind terrible crimes including murder. Weekend Box Office: "Night School" starring the comedic talents of Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart was number one with $28 million, "Smallfoot" the family-friendly animated movie was number two with $23 million, and "The House With A Clock In Its Wall" starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett was number three with $12.5 million.

                                                                            

"Venom" is scheduled to open in theaters this Fridays. Tom Hardy stars as Eddie Brock a hard-hitting investigative reporter who while working on a story comes into possession of deadly secret and in turn becomes possessed by an alien symbiote. He soon realizes that his powerful new "guest" is deadly and intelligent and the only way to survive the ordeal is to co-operate. "Dark Phoenix" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 7. This first look at the X-Men movie in the new series that will tackle one of the most iconic storylines, Written and directed by Simon Kinberg and featuring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.
