"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is the movie that brings together the casts of the X-Men trilogy movies and "X-Men:The First Class". In the future, mutants have been hunted almost out of existence by robots known as Sentinels. Charles Xavier and his one time rival Magneto come up with a plan to save mutants by sending Wolverine into the past to prevent this future from ever happening. Check out the latest trailer and get a taste of what to expect.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" hits theaters in just under two weeks and just as the first movie led into Marvel's "The Avengers" this movie will easily tie into that movie and be a worthy companion of the first, as well as, leading into the next movie Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Be advised this movie will have two sequences that follow the movie, one of which is directed by Joss Whedon, director of both "Avengers" films.

"Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits theaters on May 2 and we'll see Spider-Man face The Rhino, The Green Goblin, and Electro, and perhaps get a glimpse of others, they are at least hinted at. We can expect this to be quite the action packed thrill ride if the trailer is any indication.

Marvel's "Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and The Punisher" comes out today on DVD/ Bluray. a lot of the Marvel Comics projects that are released on DVD/ Bluray are motion comics, this project is an anime style feature made through Marvel's partnership with animation studio Madhouse. This is the same studio responsible for "X-Men Anime", "Iron Man Anime", and "Blade Anime". Disney's "Maleficent" starring Angelina Jolie in the title role, arrives in theaters on March 28. Everything I've seen about this movie so far makes me think this would be well worth the price of admission. Check out a recent trailer and prepare to be wowed.

"Infinite Crisis" the comic book mini series written by Geoff Johns was the a multi-universe, or multiverse spanning event that introduced us to some interesting incarnations of our favorite DC Universe characters. Now in the spirit of that series comes the video game where you can play as any variation of your favorite character. Check out the game trailer and brace yourself for some exciting images that make you want to play the game right now.

The CW network's "Arrow" is the most watched show on that network and created such a buzz that it has already spawned a spin-off show starring another DC Comics character "The Flash" which will debut in the fall. If you haven't been watching you are not prepared for the awesomeness that is this show. Check out the trailer for better than a hint of what's to come.

"Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" is the long-awaited sequel to the movie "Sin City". If you haven't seen the first movie buy it or rent it, but be warned it is a very faithful adaptation of a graphic novel with the emphasis on the word graphic. Most of the characters from the first movie have returned and it's a delight to see them in the trailer along with some new faces.

Big news! Just in case you didn't get enough Batman with the release of "Batman: Arkham Origins", DC Comics and Warner Bros. are releasing "Batman: Arkham Knight". This game is being promoted as the finale of the Arkham series and it looks as if they pulled out all the stops. It follows the events of Arkham City and the featured villains are Two Face, Harley Quinn, The Scarecrow, and The Penguin. The game is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the same studio that developed Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but not the recent Arkham Origins. This game promises to be even more badass than the previous games and features fan favorite Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. What more needs to be said! Check out the trailer!

"Mr.Peabody & Sherman" is the latest offering from the folks at DreamWorks Animation who brought us "The Croods" and "How to Train Your Dragon". This an update of a cartoon that's a personal favorite of mine. I used to love watching "Peabody's Improbable History" which was a segment of the animated t.v. series "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show". The executive producer of the movie is Tiffany Ward, the daughter of one of the principle creators of the show, Jay Ward. I wonder if Mr.Peabody will still introduce himself the way he did on the show, " I'm Mr. Peabody and this is my boy Sherman". For some reason, that always cracked me up as a kid.

"300: Rise of an Empire" opens this coming Friday and as the sequel to the awe inspiring "300", epic falls short of accurately describing this movie. Although clearly quite a different movie from its predecessor, it looks as if they upped the ante with the level of action which is revealed in this trailer. I expect it will be easily as enjoyable as the first movie.
