Weekend Box Office - Disney's "Tomorrowland" starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, and Britt Robertson was number one with $32.2 million, "Pitch Perfect 2" starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson was number two with $30.3 million, and "Mad Max: Fury Road" director George Miller's rekindling of the franchise he created was number three with $23.8 million.

"Spy" starring Melissa McCarthy opens on June 6. The spy movie spoof also stars Jude Law, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne, Allison Janney, and Miranda Hart. McCarthy plays a CIA analyst who longs to be a field agent. When a mission goes sideways for one of the seasoned field agents, she finally gets her opportunity to step in with hilarious results.

"Terminator Genisys" is not your traditional franchise reboot. Since the movie's premise already involves time travel, they seem to have taken a page from the "Star Trek" movie franchise to reimagine the classic "Terminator" story. This version stars Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Byung-hun Lee as T-1000, and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as The Terminator.

"Lucifer" is the upcoming Fox network show that revolves around the original fallen angel. In this story, Lucifer is tired of being the devil walks away from his responsibilities as The Lord of Hell to live among people. This show is based on a comic book series from the DC Comics Vertigo line and developed for television by Len Wiseman and Jerry Bruckheimer. I am amazed that the premise of a show that has Lucifer as the protagonist was given a green light. Bold move!

"Poltergeist" the remake of the 80's classic that was directed by Steven Spielberg opens on Friday. Don't expect the lighter, yet still quite scary tone of the original. This remake intends to grab you by your throat as evidenced by the trailer.

"The Flash" ends its freshman season with the episode entitled "Fast Enough". The Reverse Flash's endgame is revealed and Barry does what he has been working towards all season...becomes fast enough to go back in time to save his mother. Will he succeed, and if he does what price he and everyone around him end up paying?

"iZombie" has already been picked up and will return for another season. Tonight's episode "Mr. Beserk" has Liv suffering through a bout with alcoholism courtesy of the latest murder victim in the morgue. This occurring hot on the heels of the devastating loss she suffered at the end of last week's episode.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is next season's latest offering from the creators of "Arrow" and "The Flash". Bringing together some of the most dynamic guest stars from both shows along with a few surprise entries to create a team whose mission is to stop one of the most enduring villains in the DC Universe ... the immortal Vandal Savage. More super heroic action on television from The CW Network. Count me in.

"Supergirl" will debut on CBS this fall and unlike the recent movies featuring her famous cousin, the show will have a much lighter tone. Melissa Benoist ("Glee") plays the lead role as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. Dean Cain ("Lois and Clark") and Helen Slater ("Supergirl the Movie") will play her adoptive parents, Fred and Sylvia Danvers. Calista Flockhart ("Aly McBeal") is spot on in the scene stealing role of high powered media mogul Cat Grant.

"Inside Out" has a new promo trailer that promotes the upcoming Disney/Pixar  movie and Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in one of the funniest reaction videos that I've ever encountered. This is brilliant and entertaining!

This will be a completely unusual take on an already unusual comic book team.

"The Flash" episode that airs tonight is entitled "Grodd Lives". This is the live action introduction of another iconic Flash villain known as Gorilla Grodd. Unlike the comic version this Grodd will be the product of scientific experimentation and the particle accelerator explosion. Trust me, that doesn't make him any less awesome.

"Arrow" brings us ever closer to the climactic finale with "This Is Your Sword". Last week's jaw dropping ending becomes a stunning reality. Spoiler Alert! If you have no idea what I refer to because you're behind on watching episodes for whatever reasons. Don't watch this trailer.

"iZombie" definitely qualifies to be in the running for best new show of this season. The episode airs tonight is entitled "Dead Air". Liv helps investigate the murder of a radio sex and relationship talk show host with unforeseen side effects as usual.
