Weekend Box Office - "The LEGO movie" held on to the number one spot with $31.45 million, the action movie "3 Days to Kill" starring Kevin Costner debuted at number two with $12.3 million, and "Pompeii" the disaster epic about the famous doomed city and the people who lived there debuted at number three with $10 million.

"Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" doesn't hit theaters until this August, but many fans like myself, can hardly wait for this epic movie about the spacefaring band of misfits who become cosmic heroes. The first trailer finally debuted last week on Jimmy Kimmel Live and rocketed throughout the internet at lightspeed. If you haven't seen it yet check it out now. Good stuff!

"Need for Speed" may be based on the popular video game but this movie has all the earmarks of being as hot as "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. Featuring Aaron Paul and Michael Keaton the trailer for this movie is just a hint of what you can expect.

"Thor: The Dark World" now available on DVD/Bluray picks up after the events of "The Avengers" and reveals a new enemy, Malekith the Accursed and his army of Dark Elves, who threaten not only Earth, but the entire universe. Weekend Box Office - "The LEGO movie" was number one with $48.81 million, "About Last Night" the remake of the comedy classic came in at number two with $27 million, and "Robocop" another remake of a classic movie held on at number three with $21.5 million.

"Divergent" based on the novel of the same name by Veronica Roth and starring Shailene Woodley,Theo James, and Kate Winslet. The movie tells the story of Beatrice 'Tris" Prior who is targeted for extermination because in a society broken into different personality types, she is different, and doesn't fit any of the established groups.

"Godzilla" due to hit theaters on May 16 is the re-imagining of the origin story of the iconic atomic age monster. The movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen,who will appear together on-screen again as brother and sister Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch in "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Also starring in this movie, Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe. "Transformers: Age of Extinction" was seen briefly as a teaser during this year's Super Bowl. In fact, if you blinked you probably missed it. Thus far, all that we know is that the movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz as father and daughter Cade and Tessa Yeager, and that the movie will feature the fan favorite Dino-bots. Weekend Box Office - "Ride Along" starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart was number one with $12.31 million, Disney's "Frozen" was number two with $9.31 million, and coming in at number three "That Awkward Moment" the buddy comedy starring Zach Efron, Miles Teller, and Michael B. The LEGO movie opens this Friday, Feb.7. This movie will more than likely be a really good fun for kids and a trip down memory lane for adults. There's a good chance you'll see LEGO show you stuff you didn't remember or even recall that they put out. The movie promises to be a whole lot of family friendly fun. "Justice League: War" is finally here. Arriving in stores today the latest DC Universe Animated feature is the origin story of the DC's premier team of superheroic legends. "Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher" is an animated feature from Marvel and the anime studio Madhouse who brought us the Marvel anime series "X-Men", "Iron Man", and "Blade". This time we are treated to a team-up of sorts between The Black Widow and The Punisher.
