Weekend Box Office. Marvel's "Black Panther" starring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther was number one with $112 million; "Game Night" the comedy starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams was number two with $17 million; and "Peter Rabbit" the family-friendly CG animated film number three with $12.8 million.

                                                                                       

"Red Sparrow" is scheduled to open this Friday.  Jessica Lawrence stars as Dominika Egorova, a former prima ballerina manipulated into becoming a recruit for Sparrow School. Trained to use her mind and body as a weapon, she becomes the most dangerous Sparrow the program ever produced. "Death Wish" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. Director Eli Roth reimagines the 1974 revenge thriller of the same name. Bruce Willis stars as Dr. Paul Kersey, a man who begins a quest for vigilante justice after his wife and daughter are viciously attacked in their suburban home. His actions attract the attention of the media and the public and starts a  discussion of the anonymous killing of criminals begins a debate on whether his actions are justified or not and whether he's a hero or villain, right or wrong, or just another criminal.

                                                                            

Marvel's "Jessica Jones" Season 2 debuts March 8 with all episodes streaming on Netflix. Jessica returns to making a living as a Private investigator, but she's haunted by her past and the mystery of how she gained her superpowers. A mystery she must solve in order to move forward in her life.

                                                                              

"Lost in Space"  premieres April 13 with all episodes streaming on Netflix. Based on the classic television series "Lost in Space" follows the Robinson family. Highly trained to take part of a mission to establish a new colony in space, they are unexpectedly pulled off course forcing them to crash land on a lost planet.

Disney's "A Wrinkle in Time" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 9. Director Ava DuVernay brings to life an epic adventure based on Madeline L'Engle's timeless classic. "Deadpool 2" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 18. Ryan Reynolds returns as "The Merc with a Mouth" and as promised he's not alone. Josh Brolin debuts as the mutant from the future, "Cable". In addition, X-Men Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead return, as well as the rest of the supporting cast. "Ready Player One" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 29. Based on the worldwide best-selling novel of the same name by author Ernest Cline and brought to life on the silver screen by director Steven Spielberg. Weekend Box Office: "Fifty Shades Freed" starring Jamie Dorman and Dakota Johnson in the third chapter of the "Fifty Shades" trilogy was number one with  $38.8 million, "Peter Rabbit" the family-friendly CG animated movie was number two with $25 million, "The 15:17 to Paris" based on the true story of the 2015 Thalys train attack was number three with $12.6 million.

                                                                                      

Marvel's "Black Panther" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The game-changing movie that leads into Marvel's "Infinity War" that will take the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a whole new phase. However, this time that leads her down a path to the biggest mystery of her life. Weekend Box Office: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" the action/adventure follow-up to the 1994 movie "Jumanji"  climbed back up to number one with $11 million; "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" the third movie in the "Maze Runner" franchise was number two with  $10.2 million; and "Winchester" the period supernatural thriller starring Helen Mirren debuted at number three with  $9.3 million.

"Mission Impossible: Fallout" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 27. The latest film in the "Mission Impossible" franchise is another action-packed outing laden with outlandish stunts and over the top action. After a mission goes awry, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF Task Force must overcome the odds and the opposition they face to turn the tide from defeat to achieve victory.
                                                                                 
                                                                             

Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 4.The universe-spanning saga that will take the MCU into a whole new phase begins with this film that takes place following on the heels of next week's release of "Black Panther". "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 22. Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to Isla Nublar four years after the theme park was overrun by the dinosaurs. As the island's once-dormant volcano roars to life, Owen and Claire mount a rescue mission to save the dinosaurs including Blue, the raptor Owen raised. Also reprising their roles are B.D.
