Weekend Box Office: "John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum"  the third installment in the franchise starring Keanu Reeves as a legendary hitman wanting only to stay retired was number one with $57 million,  Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the blockbuster culmination of 10 years  of Marvel Studios movies was number two with $29.4 million, and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu the live-action Pokemon movie featuring actor Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu was number three with $24.8 million

                                                                              

Disney's "Aladdin" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. Director Guy Ritchie presents us with this live-action version of the hit Disney animated movie. "Aladdin"  is the tale of the charming and clever street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine, and The Genie who will intertwine their destinies. "Brightburn" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. From producer James Gunn, director David Yarovesky and writers Brian Gunn and Matt Gunn brings us a dark twist on the most iconic superhero origin story. Brightburn examines the question, what if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?


"The Dead Don't Die" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 14. The zombie comedy from quirky indie director Jim Jarmusch.Starring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, and Tom Waits.

Weekend Box Office:  Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the triumphant sequel to Marvel Studios "Avengers: Infinity War" and record-breaking superhero blockbuster was number one with $63 million, "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" based on the popular series and the 2016 video game of the same name with actor Ryan Reynolds voicing the Pokemon sleuth was number two with $54 million, and "The Hustle" female-led comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson debuted at number three with $13.5 million.

                                                                              

"John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. Following the events of the previous movie, John Wick has a multi-million dollar bounty on his head with every assassin looking to collect with the added bonus of making their reputation by killing a legend. Starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jerome Flynn, Jason Mantzoukas, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanovic, with Anjelica Huston, and Ian McShane.

 "IT Chapter Two" is scheduled to open in theaters on September 6. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2017 movie "IT" picks up 27 years later with the teens now in adulthood and once again on a collision course with the terrifying monstrosity that goes by the name Pennywise the Clown. Starring Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Bill Skarsgård returns in the seminal role of Pennywise.


"Gemini Man" is scheduled to open in theaters on October 11. Will Smith stars in this action thriller as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin who discovers that the operative who has targeted him and has been relentlessly pursuing him is a cloned younger version of him. Also starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen, and Benedict Wong.

Weekend Box Office: Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the blockbuster follow up to Marvel Studios "Avengers: Infinity War" was number one with $146 million, "The Intruder" the suspenseful thriller about young homeowners being terrorized by the house's previous owner was number two with $11 million, and  "Long Shot" the romantic comedy starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron as an unlikely romantic duo was number three with $10 million.

"Pokemon Detective Pikachu" is scheduled to open Friday. When Ace detective Harry Goodman goes missing, his 21-year old son Tim decides to find out what happened. "Tolkien" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. Exploring the life of the renowned author's formative years as he finds friendship, courage, and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school. Drawing upon his life experiences shared with his brotherhood having weathered loss and love, his tumultuous courtship with his beloved Edith Bratt, and his experiences in the First World War would later inspire Tolkien to write his Middle Earth novels.
