Weekend Box Office: "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" the third movie in the "Maze Runner" franchise was number one with $23.5 million; "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" the highly successful sequel to the 1995 movie "Jumanji" was number two with  $16.4 million; and "Hostiles" starring Christian Bale, Rosamunde Pike, and West Studi in a movie set against the frontier landscape of 1892 America debuted at number three with  $10.2  million.

                                                                                       

"Pacific Rim: Uprising" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 22. The giant robots known as Jaegers piloted by people made the world safe against the monstrous "Kaiju". Now a new generation that has grown up in the shadow of war must rise and take up the banner to fight an even greater threat. This next generation of Jaegers and their pilots will begin a new battle to protect the human race from this latest threat an even deadlier breed of "Kaiju".

                                                                              
                                                                                   

Marvel's "Black Panther" is scheduled to open in theaters on February 16. After a successful MCU debut in "Captain America: Civil War", Chadwick Bozeman reprises his character and takes a starring role as T'challa, The Black Panther in his own movie. This is the movie that will unveil the nation of Wakanda and the take the MCU into "Avengers: Infinity War" setting the stage for a brand new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

                                                                        

Disney's "A Wrinkle in Time" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 9. Based on the popular book by Madeline L' Engle now brought to life on the big screen. Director Ava DuVernay brings us an epic adventure across time and space, and through the transformative journey of a young girl being led by three celestial guides to find her missing father.

Weekend Box Office: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" the action-packed follow-up to the 1995 movie "Jumanji" was number one for the third week in a row with $20 million; "12 Strong" starring Chris Hemsworth and Michael Shannon was number two with $16.5 million, and "Den of Thieves" the R-rated heist thriller debuted at number three with $15.3 million.

                                                                                      

"Tomb Raider" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 16. Oscar winner Alicia Vikander is Laura Crofton in this adaptation of the popular video game franchise. After finding a hidden message from her father, Laura undertakes a mission that leads her to an uncharted island in the middle of the perilous Devil's Sea. "Black Panther" is scheduled to open in theaters on February 16. Following his debut in "Captain America: Civil War" T'Challa, latest The Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) takes his rightful place as king of the hidden and insular nation of Wakanda. However, he will have challenges to face before he can ascend the throne. Not the least of which comes in the form of the duo of Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. "Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay" the upcoming movie is latest DC Universe feature-length animated film. Amanda Waller head of the top-secret covert organization "Task Force X" sends a team, comprised of the supervillains Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Killer Frost, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and Copperhead, on a mission against the deadly and immortal Vandal Savage. The movie arrives on Digital starting March 27 and on Blu-ray and DVD April 10.

Weekend Box Office: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" the action-packed sequel to "Jumanji" was number one with $28.1 million, "The Post" starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks was number two with $19.4  million, and  "The Commuter" the action/thriller starring Liam Neeson was number three with $13.7 million.

                                                                                         

"12 Strong" opens in theaters this Friday. Based On the acclaimed book "Horse Soldiers" by best-selling author Doug Stanton. The true story of U.S. Special Forces team's inspiring mission in Afghanistan in the days following 9/11.Outnumbered and outgunned they faced overwhelming odds and managed to emerge victoriously. 

                                                                         

                                                                          
"Black Panther" is scheduled to open in theaters on February 16. The latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduces us to the hidden kingdom of Wakanda and the ascension of its new king and protector, T'challa, The Black Panther. "Batman: Gotham by Gaslight" will be available on Digital HD on January 23 and as Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on February 6, 2018. The newest entry in the popular DC Universe animated features and based on the popular DC Comics Elseworlds graphic novel. Weekend Box Office: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan was number one with $37.2 million, "Insidious: The Last Key" the latest entry in the "Insidious" film franchise was number two with $29.6 million, and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" the successful follow-up to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was number three with $23.7 million.

                                                                                         

"Paddington 2" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. The sequel to the highly successful "Paddington", which has been hailed as one of the most successful family films of all time.In this family-friendly feature Paddington (Ben Whishaw) finds his happy life in London disrupted when a rare book is stolen and he's accused of the crime. "Proud Mary" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The movie stars Taraji P. Henson as Mary, a hit woman working for a Boston organized crime family whose life gets turned upside down thanks to a boy she encounters when a professional hit goes awry.

                                                                                      

"The Commuter" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. Liam Neeson stars as an Insurance salesman whose routine commute becomes a life and death fight for survival in the action/thriller.  After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, he's tasked with finding out the identity of a hidden passenger before the last stop.However, he soon finds out there's more to this than he's been informed and the outcome could have tragic consequences for him and his fellow passengers.

                                                                               

"Scooby-Doo & Batman: The Brave and The Bold" available on DVD and Digital today.
