Weekend Box Office: "John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum"  the third installment in the franchise starring Keanu Reeves as a legendary hitman wanting only to stay retired was number one with $57 million,  Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the blockbuster culmination of 10 years  of Marvel Studios movies was number two with $29.4 million, and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu the live-action Pokemon movie featuring actor Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu was number three with $24.8 million

                                                                              

Disney's "Aladdin" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. Director Guy Ritchie presents us with this live-action version of the hit Disney animated movie. "Aladdin"  is the tale of the charming and clever street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine, and The Genie who will intertwine their destinies. "Brightburn" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. From producer James Gunn, director David Yarovesky and writers Brian Gunn and Matt Gunn brings us a dark twist on the most iconic superhero origin story. Brightburn examines the question, what if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?


"The Dead Don't Die" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 14. Weekend Box Office:  Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the triumphant sequel to Marvel Studios "Avengers: Infinity War" and record-breaking superhero blockbuster was number one with $63 million, "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" based on the popular series and the 2016 video game of the same name with actor Ryan Reynolds voicing the Pokemon sleuth was number two with $54 million, and "The Hustle" female-led comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson debuted at number three with $13.5 million.

                                                                              

"John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. Following the events of the previous movie, John Wick has a multi-million dollar bounty on his head with every assassin looking to collect with the added bonus of making their reputation by killing a legend. Starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jerome Flynn, Jason Mantzoukas, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanovic, with Anjelica Huston, and Ian McShane.

 "IT Chapter Two" is scheduled to open in theaters on September 6. "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" is scheduled to open Friday. When Ace detective Harry Goodman goes missing, his 21-year old son Tim decides to find out what happened. "Tolkien" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. Weekend Box Office: "The Curse of La Llorona" the supernatural thriller based on a terrifying Mexican legend was number one with $26.5 million,  "SHAZAM!" the family-friendly DC superhero movie starring Zachary Levi in the title role was number two with $17 million, and  "Breakthrough" the faith-based film about a parent's unshakeable love for their child and belief in miracles debuted at number three with $11 million,

                                                                                 

Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel Studios "Avengers: Infinity War" will finally arrive in theaters after a year-long wait. This is the movie that will be the swan song for this chapter and usher in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and all that remains is to see how that plays out for these heroes that we have come to know and love. Weekend Box Office: "SHAZAM" the family-friendly superhero movie starring Zachary Levi in the title role was number one with $25.1 million; "Little" the comedy movie where a high-powered mean-spirited executive is magically transformed back to a 13-year-old  version of herself was number two with $15.5 million; and "Hellboy" inspired by the graphic novel character created by writer and artist Mike Mignola was number three with $12 million.

                                                                                 

Disney's "Lion King" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 19. Director Jon Favreau reimagines one of the most cherished Disney animated movies by using groundbreaking techniques in filmmaking to bring beloved characters to life. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon.


Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" is scheduled to open in theaters on April 26. In 10 days the grand finale of the current chapter of Marvel Cinematic Universe will finally arrive in theaters. After a year-long wait, this movie which is a culmination of 10 years of movies from Marvel Studios. Weekend Box Office: "SHAZAM" the family-friendly DC superhero action film starring Zachary Levi was number one with $53.4 million, "Pet Sematary" the horror film based on the book by Stephen King was number two with  $25 million, and Disney's "Dumbo" the live-action reimaging of the animated Disney classic was number three with $18.2 million.

                                                                                

"Hellboy" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. David Harbour steps into the role of Hellboy. Based on the graphic novels by writer and artist Mike Mignola, Hellboy fights supernatural menaces that threaten mankind.   "Joker" is scheduled to open in theaters on October 4. From director Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck a man who keeps getting kicked around by society as he tries to make his way in life.
