Weekend Box Office -  "Hitman's Bodyguard" the action/comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson was number one with $10.1 million,  "Annabelle: Creation" the newest movie in "The Conjuring" franchise was number two with $7.35 million, and "Leap!" the CG animated film featuring the voices of Elle Fanning, Dean DeHaan, and Maddie Ziegler debuted at number three with $5 million.

                                                                                         

"Unlocked" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The action thriller stars Noomi Rapace and Orlando Bloom as a CIA agent and an ex-soldier working together to prevent a lethal biological attack on the citizens of London. "Kingsman: The Golden Circle"  is scheduled to open in theaters September 22. Director Matthew Vaughn's sequel to his highly successful "Kingsman: The Secret Service", a movie that was based on a graphic novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons "The Secret Service". This movie introduces us to The Statesman, their American counterparts, founded on the same day as The Kingsman. Starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, with Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges.

                                                                        

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 15. The follow-up to the highly successful "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will focus on Rey training in the ways of The Force under Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in the second installment of the new "Star Wars" movies.

                                                                         

"Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 20. Four teenagers spending time in detention discover an old video game console for a game they've never heard of. Suddenly they are pulled into the world of Jumanji where they find themselves inhabiting their video game avatars played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black. What follows is both an adventure and a struggle for survival as they play the game in order to finish and escape for their lives.

Weekend Box Office : "Hitman's Bodyguard" the action/comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson was number one with $21.6 million, "Annabelle: Creation" the latest movie in "The Conjuring" franchise was number two with $15.5 million, and "Lucky Logan" starring Channing Tatum in director Steven Soderberg's return to filmmaking after four years was number three with $8.1 million.

                                                                                         

"The LEGO NINJAGO Movie" is scheduled to open in theaters on Sept. 22. The latest animated adventure in the LEGO franchise from Warner Bros. Pictures. LEGO NINJAGO comes to the big screen featuring the voice talents of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods, and the legendary Jackie Chan.

                                                                         
                                                                           

"The Flash" Season 4 premieres October 10 at 8/7c on The CW. Barry is gone and without him, The Flash isn't around to protect Central City from dangerous metahumans. Iris, his fiancee, and the rest of Team Flash are doing what they can to protect the city while still reeling from their losses at the end of last season.All hope is not lost as Cisco attempts to devise a way to free Barry who is trapped in The Speed Force, the very source of his powers. 

                                                                                

"Arrow" Season 6 premieres October 12 at 9/8c on The CW. Oliver and Team Arrow will have to pick up the pieces after the events of the last season where Prometheus laid siege to their lives  - both public and private. Now, Oliver will have to embrace a new mission to protect his city as both The Mayor and Green Arrow while raising his son, William. 

                                                                                   

"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 3 premieres October 10 at 9/8c on The CW.  The Legends continue their mission to correct temporal aberrations - unusual changes in history could result in catastrophically affecting time itself.  Weekend Box Office:  "Annabelle: Creation" the latest installment in the "Conjuring" franchise was number one with $35 million dollars, "Dunkirk" the epic World War II drama from director Christopher Nolan was number two with $11.4 million, and "Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature"  the family friendly CG animated sequel to "The Nut Job" debuted at number three with $8.9 million.

Marvel's "The Defenders" premieres this Friday on Netflix with all episodes streaming. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist come together to face an evil that threatens to destroy the city they have each sworn to protect. "IT" is scheduled to open in theaters on September 8. Based on the massively popular horror novel of the same by Stephen King, which has successfully terrified readers for decades. "IT" is the story of the small town of Derry, Maine which undergoes a rash of child disappearances. "Death Wish" is scheduled to open in theaters this November. Director Eli Roth reimagines the classic 1974 revenge thriller with Bruce Willis as a man seeking vengeance for the death of his wife and attack of his college student daughter. Unable to get bring their attackers to justice through legal means, he begins slaying criminals as a vigilante while he hunts down the men who perpetrated crimes against his family. 

                                                                           

"Supergirl" returns for Season 3 on The CW beginning October 9. Following the events of last season's finale episode. Kara is heartbroken by the decision she made that exiled her love, Mon-El, from Earth.The new season will have her facing the aftermath of that decision, as well as, new threats and challenges she will have to face to protect National City. 

                                                                          

"Doctor Who" will debut the annual Christmas episode this December on BBC America. Peter Capaldi returns as the Twelfth Doctor for one last adventure in the TARDIS before his inevitable regeneration. David Bradley takes on the role of the First Doctor as past meets present and the fate of the future rests in the hands of not one, but two incarnations of The Doctor.

Weekend Box Office: "Dunkirk" the World War II drama from director Christopher Nolan was number one with $28.1 million, "The Emoji Movie" the animated family movie featuring T.J. Miller voicing the main character, the emoji "Meh", was number two with $25.7 million, and "Atomic Blonde" the blood and guts, gritty spy thriller produced by and starring Charlize Theron was number three with $18.5 million.

"Justice League" scheduled to open in theaters in November. Following the events of "Batman v. "Lucifer" returns Oct.2 with a brand new season on Fox. Last season ended with Lucifer sending his mother to an empty void to start her own universe. He was on his way to reveal who he was to his partner Chloe when he was hit from behind. "Freedom Fighters: The Ray" CW Seed's newest animated DC super hero show takes place on a parallel Earth where the Nazis won World War II.
