Weekend Box Office: "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" the action-thriller starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard was number one with $150 million, Disney*Pixar's "The Incredibles 2" was number two with $81 million, and "Ocean's 8" the female-led buddy heist film was number three with $11.65 million.

                                                                                

Marvel Studios "Ant-Man and The Wasp" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 6. Dr. Henry Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) go to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) to enlist his help keeping Dr. Pym's tech out of the hands of criminals, including a new villain known as The Ghost.

                                                                              

                                                                                 


"The Equalizer 2" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 20. Director Antoine Fuqua brings us an action-packed sequel featuring star Denzel Washington. In the very first sequel of his career. Denzel Washington returns to the role of Robert McCall who serves up unflinching justice for the victimized. DreamWorks "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" is scheduled to open in theaters next year. Series director Dean Dubois returns along with an all-star cast for the culmination one of the most popular animated franchises in film history. Weekend Box Office: Disney*Pixar's "The Incredibles 2" the sequel movie featuring the super-powered family from the 2004 movie Disney*Pixar's "The Incredibles" was number one with $180 million, "Ocean's 8" the all-woman buddy heist film was number two with $19.5 million, and "Tag" the R-rated comedy about a group of friends that play the same game of tag once a year from childhood into adulthood was number three with $14.6 million.

                                                                        

"Jurassic World: Fallen World" opens in theaters this Friday. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. The pair return to Isla Nublar, the island that houses the now abandoned park to mount a rescue mission when the once dormant volcano roars to life. Marvel's "Luke Cage" Season 2 premieres this Friday on Netflix with all episodes available for streaming. Taking on the mantle of "Harlem's Hero", Luke's presence has brought peace to Harlem and put the criminals on notice. Now, a new player has emerged looking to fill the void left by Cottonmouth's death and he goes by the name Bushmaster. Looking to make Harlem his own he will kill anyone who he sees as an obstacle to his goals and he's powerful enough to hurt the superpowered and bulletproof Luke Cage.

                                                                                          

"Halloween" is scheduled to open in theaters on October 19. Executive producers John Carpenter and Jason Blum bring a new vision based on the events of the classic 1978 film. Jamie Leigh Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode from the original movie.  Weekend Box Office - "Ocean's 8" the all-female buddy heist comedy featuring an all-star cast was number one with $ 41.5 million, "Solo: A Star Wars Story" the backstory prequel movie in the "Star Wars" saga was number two with $ 15.15 million, and "Deadpool 2" the sequel movie featuring the mutant "Merc with a Mouth" and introducing Cable the time-traveling mutant from the future was number three with $ 13.65 million. 

                                                                               

Disney*Pixar's "The Incredibles 2" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. The long-awaited sequel to the 2004 movie Disney*Pixar's "The Incredibles". The sequel picks up right where the last movie ended with The Underminer attacking. Since Supers are considered outlaws, Helen Parr a.k.a. Elastigirl becomes the focus of a campaign to bring Supers back into the limelight. Bob Parr a.k.a. Marvel's "Ant-Man and the Wasp" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 6. The sequel movie to the 2015 movie Marvel's "Ant-Man". Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) come to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) for his help stopping a villain Hank accidentally created with one of his experiments. Scott teams up with Hope, who has taken her mother's mantle as The Wasp, in order to stop the villain who goes by the name "The Ghost".

                                                                                       

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse" is scheduled to open in theaters this Christmas. Brooklyn teen Miles Morales discovers he has spider powers and attracts the attention of Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man who begins training him to be Spider-Man. The groundbreaking animated movie is brought to life by Phil Lord and Chris Miller the creative minds behind "21 Jump Street" and "The Lego Movie".

                                                                              

"Bumblebee" is scheduled to open in theaters this Christmas. Weekend Box Office: "Solo: A Star Wars Story" the prequel that revealed the backstory for one of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars Universe was number one with $29.29 million, "Deadpool 2" featuring Ryan Reynolds as the wisecracking, fourth wall breaking mutant was number two with $23.3 million, and "Adrift" the survival drama starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin was number three with $11.5 million. 

                                                                                         

"Hotel Artemis" is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday. In riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, The Nurse (played by Jodie Foster) runs a secret members-only emergency room for criminals. The high-octane, action-thriller stars an all-star cast featuring Sterling K.Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista.

                                                                                
                                                                             

"Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreak-It Ralph 2" is scheduled to open in theaters on November 21. Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) and his fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voiced by Sarah Silverman) leave the safety of Litwak's video game arcade to journey into the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, Sugar Rush.
