"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hit theaters this Friday we'll finally get to see if it lives up to all the hype. The critics who have already been to a screening have weighed in and frankly I've avoid their reviews simply because what I've heard is the usual blah, blah, blah. I never pay attention to that. My recommendation, check out one the most recent trailers and decide for yourself whether you want to see it or not.

"Godzilla" opens on May 16 and I am looking forward to seeing this movie,  especially after the dismal attempt at a updated "Godzilla" movie about 15 years ago. Check out this recent trailer and prepare to be intrigued.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits theaters less than two weeks and I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to seeing what they have revealed is nothing compared to what they haven't revealed in the trailers. If you've seen the trailers than your imagination is already running wild. Check out the latest trailer and good luck getting that imagination to slow down.

"Godzilla" is another of the highly anticipated movies that will soon be in theaters. The trailers have been clever, just showing enough to wet the appetite and calm any fears that this will be another poor attempt to profit from the "Godzilla" name. Here's yet another version, the international trailer, to continue the process.

"Batman Beyond" was one of the best animated shows on television and the character went on to have a full length animated movie and appear in episodes of "Justice League Unlimited" and has been awarded with an ongoing comic book series. Darwyn Cooke the driving force behind both the comic book limited series and the animated versions of "Justice League: The New Frontier" worked on the "Batman Beyond" animated series. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits theaters May 2 and expect it to be bigger and perhaps even better than the its predecessors. The studio and producers have big plans for the Spider-Man franchise and in order to bring them to fruition they intend to make sure that the fans aren't disappointed. They actually may be on the right track if this trailer is any indication.

"Godzilla" is probably one of the most anticipated movies expected to be released this summer. This is the movie that fans hope will bring credibility back to the King of the Monsters. Let's hope this trailer is just a hint of what we can expect.

"Jupiter Ascending" is the latest movie from the creators of The Matrix Trilogy and it appears to be a space epic with an Earth based heroine. The movie stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis as the titular heroine Jupiter. Check out the trailer and see if you get the same impression I got. It has that new movie franchise smell.

"The Four" is a martial arts/ superhero movie that is worth watching. I usually don't ad movies with subtitles but this one is definitely a cut above most martial arts movies I've watched so I had to include it.The movie is based on a popular Chinese book series. It is the story of four constables in ancient China that each have special abilities. This is the first of what is supposed to be a franchise and the action and cinematography are quite impressive. Check out the trailer and see if you are as intrigued as I was. The movie is available on DVD/Bluray.

"Tai Chi Zero" is another martial arts movie that is worth watching. It's has been called a steampunk martial arts adventure and it is really quite more than that. Available on DVD/Bluray, I highly recommend it. If you enjoy it you will also enjoy the sequel "Tai Chi Hero"

"Godzilla" is the movie that is supposed to return the "King of the Monsters" to his rightful place as in cinematic glory. This re-imaging is supposed to give this legendary monster the film cred he deserves. They certainly seem to capture the mood and atmosphere that was present back in his 1950's debut film. Check out the trailer featuring some very familiar faces, two of whom will play a famous brother-sister duo in the upcoming Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

The director know for his epic action movies is also for using over the top explosions to frame his action sequences was thought to be a bad fit for these beloved characters. Go figure.
