Weekend Box Office - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt.2" was number one for the second week in a row with $43 million, the latest installment of the James Bond franchise, "Skyfall" came in a strong second with $36 million, and "Lincoln" was number three bringing in $25 million and creating a major Oscar buzz for star Daniel Day Lewis. Two new movie opened at fourth and fifth that deserve mention, based on a popular children's book series "Rise of the Guardians" the new animated movie opened with $24 million and "Life of Pi" from Director Ang Lee and based on the book of the same name opened with $22 million.
 
 
                                     
                                                                   
 
 
 
   Director Bryan Singer took to Twitter and revealed that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan will be reprising their roles as Professor Xavier and Magneto in "X-Men: Days of Future Past". James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult from "X-Men: First Class" will also be reprising their roles.   The Syfy 20th Anniversary Special will air on Monday Dec.10 at 9pm. Narrated by Dean Cain, the two-hour special will feature actors,directors, and producers from Syfy shows like Alphas, Battlestar Galactica, Being Human, Caprica, Defiance, Eureka, Farscape,Haven, Lost Girl, Sanctuary, Stargate: SG1, and Warehouse 13.
 
 
 
 
 
                                                                           
 
 
 
   One of the most kickass animated shows ever to air on Cartoon Network returns to Toonami. Naruto will begin airing Saturday Dec.1st from the beginning and completely uncut.   "Rise of the Guardians" opens tomorrow. The Dreamworks animated movie is based on the book series "The Guardians of Childhood" by William Joyce, who also worked on the screenplay. The voice cast features Chris Pine as Jack Frost, Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund/The Easter Bunny, Isla Fisher as The Tooth Fairy, Alec Baldwin as North/Santa Claus, and Jude Law as the villian Pitch.
 
 
 
 
                                
                                                                               
 
 
     Check out this trailer for the movie EPIC, which is scheduled for release May 17, 2013. This animated movie tells the story of a teenage girl who finds herself magically transported to a hidden world of people who protect the forest and into the midst of an ongoing battle between good and evil. Weekend Box Office - The latest James Bond movie "Skyfall" owned the box office making $90 million in it's first weekend, "Wreck-it Ralph" was number two with $33 million, and at number three was the Denzel Washington action/drama "Flight" making $15 million.
 
 
 
                                                                                  
 
 
      Director Matthew Vaughn ("Kick Ass", "X-Men: The First Class") is rumored to be the front runner to direct the new Star Wars movies. There hasn't been official word yet but there is even speculation that this is the reason that he pulled out of the new X-Men movie. In related news, Michael Arndt, the Academy Award winning screenwriter for "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Toy Story 3" has been confirmed as the writer of the screenplay for Star Wars: Episode VII.
 
 
 
 
                                                                      
 
 
 
   If you are unable to wait until 2015 for a Star Wars fix. I highly recommend "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" on Cartoon Network. This is no silly animated show for kids. This show is like the movie serials that first inspired George Lucas to make the original "Star Wars".
 
 
 
 
                                                                          
 
 
 
   "The Amazing Spider-Man" is currently available on Bluray/DVD and a sequel is already in the works. The script is finished and production starts in February. Mark Webb will be returning as director. Sony Pictures has scheduled the sequel for May 2, 2014
 
 
 
                                                                            
 
 
 
    If you haven't seen this trailer then you're in for a treat. This trailer blew me away when I first saw it and the idea of Brad Pitt in a zombie is intriguing. Why not, he's already played a vampire. Weekend Box Office - "Wreck - It Ralph" was number one at the box office with $49.1 million, "Flight" starring Denzel Washington was number two with $25.0 million, and holding on at number three was "Argo" with $10.2 million.
 
 
                                         
                                                                             
 
 
 
Warner Home Video has set the release date of "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2" for Jan.29, 2013. The  second part of this adaptation of the award winning graphic novel features a final confrontation between two deadly enemies and a knock down drag out battle between two legendary superheroes.     The new James Bond "Skyfall"  is being released on here in the U.S. this Friday. The movie promises to surpass the previous Bond movie in every way possible and if this trailer is any indication, it will succeed.
