Weekend Box Office - "Pain & Gain" starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson was number one with $20 million, Tom Cruise's sci-fi movie "Oblivion" came in at number two with $17.4 million, and "42" the Jackie Robinson biopic rounded out the top three with $10.7 million.
The highly anticipated sequel to "The Hunger Games" is upcoming and the first trailer making the rounds. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" looks to be as exciting as the first movie.
The remake of the classic horror movie based on the Stephen King novel of the same name has been remade starring Julianne Moore and Chloe Grace Moretz in the title role.
Finally, after years of waiting there is a sequel to "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief". I really enjoyed that movie and knew that since they're based on a series of books that there was a good possibility for sequels. Logan Lehrman returns as the half-human son of the Olympian god Poseidon. The first movie set up the world in which the half mortal children of the Olympians train as heroes and face perils much like their half-human predecessors did centuries ago.
I am looking forward to seeing this movie especially since it looks like an edgy retelling of the classic. "The Lone Ranger" starring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp. Talk about edgy, wait until you see Johnny Depp as Tonto. Awesome.
