Weekend Box Office: Marvel Studios "Avengers: Endgame" the blockbuster follow up to Marvel Studios "Avengers: Infinity War" was number one with $146 million, "The Intruder" the suspenseful thriller about young homeowners being terrorized by the house's previous owner was number two with $11 million, and  "Long Shot" the romantic comedy starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron as an unlikely romantic duo was number three with $10 million.

"Pokemon Detective Pikachu" is scheduled to open Friday. When Ace detective Harry Goodman goes missing, his 21-year old son Tim decides to find out what happened. Tim soon realizes that he's the only human who can understand his father's former partner Detective Pikachu and the two join forces to unravel the tangled mystery.

                                                                               
                                                                   
          
"Tolkien" is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday. Exploring the life of the renowned author's formative years as he finds friendship, courage, and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school. Drawing upon his life experiences shared with his brotherhood having weathered loss and love, his tumultuous courtship with his beloved Edith Bratt, and his experiences in the First World War would later inspire Tolkien to write his Middle Earth novels.   

                                                                               

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 2. Following the events of "Avengers: Endgame", Peter Parker struggles to return to some semblance of his version of a normal life as a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. However, when Nick Fury comes calling Spider-Man must rise to the challenge and face even greater threats in a world that has forever changed. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jon Favreau, Samuel L. Jackson, and Cobie Smulders.
