Weekend Box Office - "Neighbors" the R rated comedy starring Seth Rogen and Zach Efron took the number one spot with a $51 million debut, "Amazing Spider-Man 2 " came in second with $37.2 million in it's second week, and "The Other Woman" came in third with $9.25 million.

"Gotham" is coming to Fox this fall. The series centers around the city and the characters that are a big part of the Batman mythos. The trailer reveals what you can expect and follows the exploits of a young James Gordon and the bond he forms with the newly orphaned Bruce Wayne. It looks very promising and I hope it lives up to that promise.

"Constantine" which debuts this fall on NBC is based on the character featured in the "Hellraiser" comics John Constantine. A reluctant paranormal investigator who sees the world in a way that very few can or even want to. This is the character as he is supposed to be and I look forward to seeing this series.

"Godzilla" opens in theaters this coming Friday and we'll finally see if this movie really highlights and returns some long overdue respect to "The King of the Monsters".

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" opens in theaters in a week from Friday. I am expecting big things with director Bryan Singer back at the helm of this franchise and the joining of the casts of The X-Men trilogy with that of  "X-Men: The First Class". Singer has made no secret about following this movie with "X-Men: Apocalypse" featuring perhaps the best of all the X-Men villains. If you don't know who that is the movie's title is a really dead giveaway. In the meantime, we get to enjoy past and future versions of the X-Men in this current film.
