Weekend Box Office - Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy", the latest offering in the Marvel cinematic universe was number one with a huge $94 million opening weekend, "Lucy" starring Scarlett Johansson was number two with $18.2 million, and "Get On Up" the James Brown biopic starring Chadwick Boseman ("42") opened at number three with $14 million.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" opens in November. The highly anticipated follow up to "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" has Katniss poised to lead the rebellion against the ruthless President Snow. Check out the latest teaser trailer as an appetizer.
"The Maze Runner" is the latest movie based on a popular book series. The series written by author James Dashner tells the story of a group of teenagers with no memories of their past who are trapped in the center of a giant maze which no one has ever escaped from. The trailer debuted at the San Diego Comic Con to much fanfare. Check it out!
Disney's "Into the Woods" is adapted from the popular musical by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. The movie features popular fairytale characters who each come together during each of their quests. Check out this newly released first trailer.
