Weekend Box Office - "Ouija" the supernatural board game inspired horror movie debuted at number one with $20 million, "John Wick" the action packed movie starring Keanu Reeves as a revenge motivated hit man came in second making $14.1 million, "Fury" the WWII tank action-drama starring Brad Pitt came in third with $13 million.

                                                                             

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is next summer's highly anticipated sequel to Marvel's "The Avengers" and the trailer which was supposed to air attached to the ABC television series Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was leaked early much to the dismay of Marvel and the delight of fans everywhere. Marvel joked that HYDRA agents were responsible. Well, I wouldn't want to be those HYDRA agents. Marvel is owned by Disney and Disney doesn't play that. 


                                                      

"Horns" starring Daniel Radcliffe as a young man who has lost the love of his life in a vicious rape and murder. Adding insult to injury he is believed to be guilty of the crime in the court of public opinion despite the lack of any evidence to support that belief. As if things could not get worst, he begins to grow very recognizable horns on his head that endow him with unwanted supernatural abilities. And you thought you were having a bad day.

                                                                               

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Pt.1" is three weeks away and the latest teaser trailer features the song "Yellow Flicker Beat" by Lorde which will be on the soundtrack. Enjoy.

Weekend Box Office - "Fury" the WWII tank movie starring Brad Pitt was number one with $23.5 million, "Gone Girl" based on the bestselling novel of the same name came in at number two with $17.8 million, and "The Book of Life" producer Guillermo Del Toro's family friendly animated tribute to Mexico's Day of the Dead was number three with $17 million.

                                                                              

"John Wick" the new action movie starring Keanu Reeves hits theaters this Friday. The trailer gives the impression that this movie is a completely kick-ass action packed thrill ride. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" opens in theaters one month from today. The final book of the trilogy has been broken into two separate movies and promises to bring the series to a satisfying conclusion for even the most hardcore of fans. Take a look the original teaser trailer for the upcoming movie.

                                                                                   

"Constantine" is the new NBC show based on the DC Comics character of the same name featured in the comic book series "John Constantine: Hellraiser". Debuting on network television this Friday, the show is not to be confused with the big budget movie version, this promises to be a truer adaptation of the beloved and popular comic book antihero.

Weekend Box Office - "Gone Girl" starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike was number one bringing in $26.8 million, "Dracula Untold" was number two with $23.4 million, and Disney's "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" came in at number three bringing in  $19.1 million.

                                                                                 

"The Book of Life" opens this Friday. The movie from producer Guillermo Del Toro is an animated feature with an all-star voice cast headed up by Channing Tatum and Zoe Saldana. 

                                                                                      

                                                                                         
           
"Tomorrowland" is the new sci-fi adventure movie from Walt Disney Pictures. This is the movie that George Clooney took time off from his honeymoon to promote at New York Comic Con. Check out this teaser trailer for the movie briefly featuring the aforementioned Mr. Clooney.

                                                                              

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is available today on DVD/ Blu-ray. Weekend Box Office - "Gone Girl" the thought provoking suspense mystery starring Ben Affleck was the number one movie with $38 million, "Annabelle" featuring the origin of the demonic doll from the movie "The Conjuring" was the number two movie with $37.2 million, and "The Equalizer" the action thriller starring Denzel Washington was number three with $19 million.

                                                                              

"The Flash" premieres tonight on the CW network. The spin-off show to the network's popular "Arrow''. Introduces us to police forensic specialist Barry Allen who goes from chasing down urban legends to becoming transformed into one.

                                                                                  

                                                                               

"Arrow" has consistently delivered the chills and thrills that we have come to expect from this awesome show. The CW Network show which has already spawned a spin-off  show, "The Flash", debuts its third season tomorrow night and after last season you can guarantee they most certainly will find ways to outdo themselves. A direct sequel to the previously released "Justice League: War" this animated feature focuses on the character of Aquaman. Forget everything you may think you know about the character, this is DCU New 52 version of the aquatic hero. This is both an origin story for the character as well as his "Justice League" debut. If you haven't already seen "Justice League: War" I highly recommend that you do before you see this one. "Edge of Tomorrow" is the sci-fi/action/thriller starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie is available today on DVD/ Blu-ray. This is an action packed sci-fi "Groundhog Day" and that's no insult.
