Weekend Box Office - "Gone Girl" the thought provoking suspense mystery starring Ben Affleck was the number one movie with $38 million, "Annabelle" featuring the origin of the demonic doll from the movie "The Conjuring" was the number two movie with $37.2 million, and "The Equalizer" the action thriller starring Denzel Washington was number three with $19 million.
"The Flash" premieres tonight on the CW network. The spin-off show to the network's popular "Arrow''. Introduces us to police forensic specialist Barry Allen who goes from chasing down urban legends to becoming transformed into one.
"Arrow" has consistently delivered the chills and thrills that we have come to expect from this awesome show. The CW Network show which has already spawned a spin-off show, "The Flash", debuts its third season tomorrow night and after last season you can guarantee they most certainly will find ways to outdo themselves. A direct sequel to the previously released "Justice League: War" this animated feature focuses on the character of Aquaman. Forget everything you may think you know about the character, this is DCU New 52 version of the aquatic hero. This is both an origin story for the character as well as his "Justice League" debut. "Edge of Tomorrow" is the sci-fi/action/thriller starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie is available today on DVD/ Blu-ray. This is an action packed sci-fi "Groundhog Day" and that's no insult. I love the concept and this movie appeals to that. Don't take my word for it, check out the trailer.
