Weekend Box Office - "Deadpool" starring Ryan Reynolds as Marvel's madcap "merc with a mouth" was number one for the second week in a row with $56.4 million, DreamWorks Animation "Kung Fu Panda 3" featuring the voices of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Bryan Cranston, and Dustin Hoffman remained at number two with $12.5 million, and "Risen" the biblical story of the Resurrection of Jesus starring Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton debuted at number three with $11.8 million.

                                                                              

"Gods of Egypt" opens this Friday. The epic adventure fantasy which features Gerard Butler as Set and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Horus, two of the legendary egyptian gods who are battling it out with the fate of mankind at stake. Also featuring Elodie Yung (Elektra in the upcoming season of Marvel's "Daredevil") as Hathor and Chadwick Boseman (T'Challa,The Black Panther in the upcoming movie Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War").

                                                                                  
                                                      

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will open in theaters on March 25. The newly released official final trailer begins Batman (Ben Affleck) in action. Doing what he does best, dispensing his unique brand of justice. The trailer also gives us some scenes not seen in previous trailers. Love it or hate, this movie is already on track to be an undeniable success and one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer movie season.   

                                                                                    

Disney's "Alice Through the Looking Glass" opens in theaters on March 27. The sequel to the widely successful Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" and reunites the all-star cast in their previous roles.including the late Alan Rickman as the voice of the Blue Caterpillar, now seen as a butterfly.There will also be some new characters which includes Sacha Baron Cohen as the part human,part clock known only as Time. It promises to be quite more bizarre as its predecessor. 

                                                                              

Disney's "Pete Dragon" will arrive in theaters on August 12. The movie is a re-imagining of a classic Disney family movie of the same name about an orphan named Pete and his best friend, Elliot, who just happens to be a dragon.
