Weekend Box Office - Disney's "Moana" the animated movie featuring the voices of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho as "Moana' was number one with $28.2 million, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." from author J.K. Rowling the creative mind behind the "Harry Potter" series was number two with $18.1 million, and "Arrival" the sci-fi alien first contact drama starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker climbed back into the number three spot with $7.2 million.

Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to open in theaters May 2017. The sequel to the highly successful Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be full of surprises, especially since the movie's plot, with the exception of a few details, is still shrouded in secrecy.
