Weekend Box Office: Disney/Pixar's "Cars 3" featuring the voice talents of Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bonnie Hunt was number one with $53.5 million, "Wonder Woman" the origin story of the iconic DC Amazon Princess starring Gal Gadot was number two with $40.7 million, "All Eyez On Me" the biopic about the life and times of the late rapper/actor Tupac Shakur was number three with $27 million.  


                                                                              

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 21. Director Michael Bay brings us the latest installment in the "Transformers" franchise and his last one as director. As war between Humans and Transformers rages out of control. The fate of mankind rests on the discovery from the secret history of the Transformers on Earth. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Laura Haddock and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

                                                                                 
                                                                                     

"Flatliners" is scheduled to open in theaters on Sept.29. A remake of the 1990 movie of the same name, this version follows five medical students that become obsessed with answering the question of what happens when we die. They begin an experiment that stops their hearts for a short period of time to trigger a near death experience. The experiment gets out of hand triggering a terrifying paranormal effect caused by their crossing over to the other side.  

                                                                                 

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 7. Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker/Spider-Man fresh from his debut in "Captain America: Civil War" into his own movie. After the experience of a lifetime teaming up with The Avengers Peter struggles with returning to his day to day routine of balancing his life as a high school student with that his web spinning alter ego.

                                                                          

"Despicable Me 3" from Illumination is scheduled for theaters on June 30. Steve Carell returns as the voice of Gru and as his newly discovered twin brother Dru.  Also featuring the voices of Kristen Wiig as  Lucy and Trey Parker as Balthazar Bratt. Oh, and of course, the Minions.
