Weekend Box Office: "Equalizer 2" the action-thriller starring Denzel Washington in the first sequel of his career was number one with $35.8 million, "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" the sequel musical to the 2008 movie "Mamma Mia!" was number two with $34.4 million, and "Hotel Transylvania 3" the family-friendly animated movie featuring the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Andy Samberg was number three with $23.2 million.

                                                                                         

"Aquaman" is scheduled to open to open in theaters this December. Following his debut in "Justice League" The King of the Seven Seas will star in his own movie. Jason Momoa reprises his role in as Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman. Director James Wan brings the wonder and the terror of the seven seas to life in this superhero action/thriller that reveals the origin of one of the most underrated superheroes. The all-star cast features Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Temura Morrison as Thomas Curry, Yahya Abdul-Manteen II as David Kane/Black Manta and Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master.

                                                                      
                                                                               
                                                                                          
"SHAZAM!" is scheduled to open in theaters on April 5, 2019, Foster kid Billy Batson (Asher Angel) in an act of unusual selflessness catches the attention of the powerful wizard who presents Billy with the ability to transform himself with a single magic word into "The World's Mightiest Mortal",  an adult with superpowers know as SHAZAM (Zachary Levi). Also starring Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, with Djimon Hounsou as The Wizard and Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

                                                                                  

"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is scheduled to open in theaters on November 16 The second of five new adventures set in writer J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. As promised after his capture in the last film, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald has escaped and is amassing followers. Albus Dumbledore turns to his former student Newt Scamander to put a stop to Grindlewald's plans unaware of the dangers ahead of him. The movie features an ensemble cast that stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Folger, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.
