Weekend Box Office: "The Upside" the feel-good comedy starring Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, and Nicole Kidman was number one with $19.5 million; "Aquaman" from director James Wan and starring Jason Momoa as the often underestimated aquatic superhero was number two with $17 million; and "A Dog's Way Home" the family-friendly movie adapted from a novel by W, Bruce Cameron was number three with $11.3 million
Marvel's "The Punisher" Season Two premieres this Friday on Netflix with all episodes available for streaming. Jon Bernthal continues to shine as Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher, a role that originally began with the character's debut in Marvel's "Daredevil" Season Two. Frank has put being The Punisher aside and is just trying to live his life. However, a girl in the worst kind of trouble with some dangerous people prompts him to return to action and take up the fight once again. Dealing out his unbridled brand of vigilante justice and forcing criminals to run for their lives or face his wrath.
"Reign of The Superman" is available on Digital HD today and in stores on Bluray/DVD on January 29. The sequel to the 2018 DC Universe animated movie "The Death of Superman" takes place six months after the climactic battle between Superman and Doomsday. The world is still mourning the loss of Superman and uncertain about the four would be replacements vying for his title. Can these four even begin to compensate for the loss of a hero like Superman?
