Weekend Box Office. Henson was number two was $19 million, and "Cold Pursuit" the revenge-driven action thriller starring Liam Neeson was number three with $10.8 million.
"Alita: Battle Angel" is scheduled to open in theaters this week. Producer James Cameron and director Robert Rodriguez bring the classic anime movie character Alita to the big screen. This big screen adaptation of the anime movie which is based on the graphic novel ("manga") series: "Gunnm" by Yukito Kishiro and adapted into a screenplay by James Cameron, Laeta Kalogridis, and Robert Rodriguez. Starring Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, and Keean Johnson.
"Shaft" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 14. This action comedy is the bridge that connects this iconic character past, present, and future. Bringing together three generations 1970s Shaft in the form of original actor Richard Roundtree, Samuel L. Jackson from the 2000 movie "Shaft", and introducing John Shaft Jr. played by Jessie T. Usher.
"Justice League vs. The Fatal Five" is scheduled for release on Digital HD beginning March 30 and 4K HD, Bluray/DVD on April 16. Kevin Conroy, George Newbern, and Susan Eisenberg reprise their voice roles from the "Justice League: Animated Series as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman respectively. This DC Universe animated feature has the Justice League facing off against The Fatal Five, a team of supervillains from the 31st century
