Weekend Box Office - "Furious 7" the high octane latest installment of "The Fast and Furious" film franchise was the box office champ in its second week with $60.5 million, DreamWorks Animation's  family friendly "Home" came in at number two with $19 million, and "The Longest Ride" based on the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks debuted at number three with $13.5 million.

Marvel's "Daredevil" debuted on Netflix last Friday and is now streaming. I highly recommend this show if you even consider yourself a comics fan. This 13 episode first season brings more depth to the character than ever previously shown in live action.  I highly anticipate the other Marvel series yet to debut on Netflix will be equally entertaining.

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is getting closer and closer. I admit I am very excited to see the movie. I must commend Marvel for what they're doing and for what they have planned. Not only with this movie, but with how all the television series and movies produced by Marvel Studios will all tie together. Keep your eyes open and I highly recommend not blinking. There will be loads of Easter eggs and just plain dead giveaways on what's to come. Cheers!

Marvel's "Ant-Man" is the one of the upcoming wave of new Marvel movies. The character was one of the original Avengers in the comic books. The movie version seems to combine the original Ant-Man with the updated version of the character revamped back in the early eighties. I'm very interested to see where and when they will tie this in with the current and upcoming Marvel movies.

"Batman vs. Robin" is the action packed follow up to "Son of Batman"  arriving in stores today on Blu-ray/DVD. The DC Animated movie reveals the conflict between Bruce Wayne and his son Damian. The newest Robin was trained by his grandfather, Ra's al Ghul and his mother, Talia to one day take over The League of Assasins and has trouble adjusting to his father's code of conduct. Adding to the conflict is the appearance of Talon and the Court of Owls part a previously undiscovered secret society that has been part of Gotham since it was founded.

Weekend Box Office - "Furious 7" the latest installment of "The Fast and Furious" franchise debuted at number one with a record breaking $143.6 million, "Home" from DreamWorks Animation took the number two spot with $27.4 million, and "Get Hard" featuring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart retained it's spot in the top three with $12.9 million.

"SPECTRE" is the latest installment in the long running 007 movie franchise. Daniel Craig returns as Agent 007 James Bond along with "Skyfall" director, Sam Mendes. In this movie we find James Bond uncovering secrets behind the titular top secret criminal organization, and introduces an enemy who has close ties to Bond's mysterious past.

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is less than one month away from being unleashed in theaters. We can look forward to seeing all the heroes from the first movie plus a few new heroes. We can also expect this movie to have plenty of surprises in store for us that will set the stage for future Marvel movies. In the words of Nick Fury, "You've got to keep both eyes open at all times".

"The Flash" is racing quickly towards the end of a stellar freshman season. I can easily anticipate the ways in which this show will continue to pull out all the stops and deliver an epic season finale in keeping with the tone of the whole season.

"Arrow" has proven to be a show that delivers episode after episode season after season. Now coming to the close of its third season, the show is giving us one of the most unexpected story arcs and adding substantial layers to a character many once considered a second tier hero in the DC Comics rooster.

"Furious 7" will open on Friday, April 3. This latest installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise will also feature the last film appearance of the late Paul Walker. This latest film promises to bring in bigger stunts and much bigger action, and from what I've already seen some of the biggest fight scenes in the franchise thus far.

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens one month from now and speaking strictly for myself, I can barely contain my excitement. I feel like a kid counting down to Christmas. Knowing fully what to expect and what of the surprises are in store for us, I can still feel my own personal anticipation growing.

Marvel's "Daredevil" is coming to Netflix on April 10 and will breathe new life into "The Man without Fear". The series will highlight Matt Murdock's origin story and his crusade for justice as sightless lawyer by day and costumed vigilante by night.

"Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation" the upcoming installment in the "Mission Impossible" franchise which reunites most of the team from the last movie. "The Flash" ended last week's episode with shock, awe, and a senses shattering ending. This week's episode entitled "Rogue Time" picks up where that one left off. This show constantly ups the ante and really delivers the goods.

"iZombie" the new CW Network show drops a new episode tonight entitled "Brother, Can You Spare A Brain". We get more insight into how Liv is dealing with being one of the undead. In this episode she begins to start enjoying living as a zombie and adjusting to her new normal.

"The Flash" has been a constant source of entertainment and delight since its debut on CW Network this past fall. Now the network has released a Look Ahead trailer which shows what has already happened and gives us a taste of what's to come. Spoiler Alert! They are really letting the cat out of the bag here.

"Arrow" is delivering a strong third season with its brand of raise the bar action and thrills. If you think this show couldn't get any better, you would be mistaken. The Look Ahead trailer reveals a good bit of what they have in store. Spoiler Alert! If you rather be surprised, then don't watch this. It really gives the game away.

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" debuted a new trailer last week that finally gave us a sneak peak at the character that every Avengers fan has been chomping at the bit to see....The Vision. Enough said.

Disney's "Cinderella" is a live action version of the classic fairy tale which opens in theaters this coming Friday. We all know the story and thanks to the wonders of modern special effects it has been brought to life like never before.

Disney's "Tomorrowland" the latest trailer for one of Disney's most "hush hush" secret projects (next to "Star Wars: Episode 7", of course) debuted with a more in depth look at the upcoming movie yesterday. I am very curious to see what this movie is really all about.

Weekend Box Office - "Focus" starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie debuted at number one with $19.1 million, "Kingsman: The Secret Service" based on the popular graphic novel "The Secret Service" held on to the number two spot with $11.7 million, and "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" maintained it grasp on the number three spot with $11.2 million.

"CHAPPIE" the latest sci-fi cautionary tale from director Neill Blomkamp ("District 9","Elysium") featuring his frequent collaborator Sharlto Copley as the title character. CHAPPIE is the story of a police droid that is stolen and reprogrammed to be independent.

"Spy" is the latest film starring Melissa McCarthy and this one is an action comedy. Melissa is an analyst for the C.I.A. who gets the opportunity to live her dream and become an actual spy. This movie features some familiar faces from the action film genre flexing their comedy muscles.

"The Man from U.N.C.L.E." was a hit television series from the sixties that teamed an American spy with his Russian counterpart. The remake features Henry Cavill as the American agent Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer as Russian agent Illya Kuryakin. The movie is directed by Guy Ritchie who directed the Sherlock Holmes movies which featured Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. I'm very glad this movie takes place in the sixties instead of being some modernized version. Looks very promising!

"Hitman: Agent 47" is an upcoming movie version of the popular "Hitman" video game series. The previous movie version was not very well received, since fans of the game felt it was a very watered down version of the character. This version promises to make you completely forget that and if the trailer is any indication that seems very likely.

"Arrow" has delivered a very exciting season filled with twists and turns. This has been quite the roller coaster ride and the show took quite a twist that ignited the internet. The upcoming episode entitled "The Offer" will pick up where the last episode left off and hit the ground running. Spoiler Alert: If you didn't see the last episode you really don't want to check out the trailer.
