Weekend Box Office - "The Martian" starring Matt Damon as an astronaut left for dead and marooned on Mars remained number one with $37 million in its second week, "Hotel Transylvania" the family friendly animated movie was number two with $20.3 million, and "Pan" starring Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, and Levi Miller opened at number three with $15.5 million.
"The Last Witch Hunter" opens on October 23. The movie stars Vin Diesel as an immortal warrior on a holy crusade to prevent witches from subjugating mankind. The movie also stars Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie, and Michael Caine.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" opens on November 20. This is the epic conclusion to this series.The final chapter in which the games continue on a grander scale then just in an enclosed arena.

Night Shyamalan was number three with $11.3 million.
Disney's "Jungle Book" will hit theaters next spring. The first teaser trailer for the movie directed by Jon Favreau ("Elf","Iron Man") has been released and it looks amazing. There have been live action versions of the famous book by Rudyard Kipling before, but this is on a whole other level.

"Victor Frankenstein" is a re-telling of the classic Frankenstein story starring James McAvoy as the titular mad scientist and Daniel Radcliffe as his assistant Igor. The movie does not seem to take itself to seriously, but also manages not to stray to far into comedy territory. The movie won't be in theaters until this November so the two main stars are introducing to their characters in this very first trailer.
