"iZombie" is another DC Universe character that is making the jump to the small screen. Liv is a young woman who works in the coroners office which is ideal since she's a zombie and it gives her easy access to fresh brains. She also helps solve murders since the brains give her flashes of the victim's memories.

Marvel's "Daredevil" will premiere in April as a Netflix original series. This is the first of five series that Marvel has partnered with Netflix to bring to life. The other four in no set order are "Power Man", "Iron Fist", "A.K.A Jessica Jones", and "The Defenders".

Marvel's "Ant-Man" finally brings one of Marvel Comics original Avengers to the screen. The movie stars Michael Douglas as Doctor Henry "Hank" Pym and Paul Rudd as his protégé Scott Lang.

Weekend Box Office - “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” was number one for the third weekend in a row bringing in $21.7 million, "Into the Woods" the fantasy musical based on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm was second with $18.7 million, followed closely by "Unbroken" the true story of Olympian and WWII prisoner of war Louis Zamperini with $18.2 million.

"Terminator Genisys" is the latest offering in the franchise, and this time they have completely flipped the script. Arnold is back as variety of  Terminators and as Sarah Connor indicates in the trailer "The rules have changed." No kidding!

"Strange Magic" is an animated fantasy adventure that can hardly be described as typical. Despite a premise that we are all too familiar with the movie goes off on all kinds of tangents. Be warned! This story came from the mind of George Lucas. Draw whatever conclusion you need to from that.

"Ant-Man" had a previous teaser trailer that had to be seen to be believed. I'll just say that unless you could radically increase the magnification on your television or computer screen you wouldn't see no squat. Nice gag, Marvel! Here's the new teaser that's much easier on the vision.

The movie reveals more about his secret past during a manhunt by LAPD as the prime suspect in his wife's murder, even while he is taking the fight to those really responsible.

"Agent Carter" premieres next Tuesday Jan 6. This show follows one of the people who began the espionage organization know as S.H.I.E.L.D. Weekend Box Office - "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies" was number one with $56.2  million, "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" featuring the late Robin Williams took second place with $17.3 million, and the remake of "Annie" starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis was third with $16.3 million.

"Into the Woods" starring Meryl Streep and featuring an all-star cast is a modern musical mash-up of the stories of the Brothers Grimm. The movie ties together the different stories and characters to that of a baker and his wife sent on a quest by a witch in order to remove a curse on them.

"San Andreas" starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can only be described as an action/disaster movie. The long and short of it is that a massive earthquake levels Los Angeles (again?) and "The Rock" has to rescue survivors.

"Night At the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" opens this Christmas. The movie is the third installment in the series and it brings back everyone and everything we love about this series. This movie was wrapped and finished before comedian Robin Williams passing, so we get one more look at him reprising his role as President Teddy Roosevelt. I am personally looking forward to this one.
