Weekend Box Office - "Despicable Me 2" was number one at with $82.5 million,"Lone Ranger" was number two with bringing in $29.2 million, and "The Heat" rounded out the top three with $25 million.
 
 
                                                                                  
 
"Kick Ass 2" the sequel to the highly successful movie "Kick Ass" which was based on a graphic novel by writer Mark Millar and artist John Romita Jr. takes a further step into the world of costumed vigilantes with no super powers. As more and more people start donning costumes to fight crime, the disgruntled son of a crime boss slain by Kick-Ass and Hit Girl puts together a team of costumed criminals.
 
 
                                                                                
 
 
                                                                                
 
 
Hot on the heels of the latest  incarnation of the very successful "Fast & Furious" franchise. Vin Diesel steps back into the character that made him a box office success. "Riddick" revisits the character from "Pitch Black" and "The Chronicles of Riddick" and once again he's facing off against bounty hunters and carnivorous monsters that have both mistaken this predator for prey.
 
 
                                                                            
 
 "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" features Lily Collins as a New York city teen who discovers that she can see a world that most people don't realize exists and that she has a hidden heritage as a demon slayer who are called Shadowhunters.
