Weekend Box Office - "Despicable Me 2" was number one with $44.7 million, "Grown Ups 2" took the number two spot with $42.5 million, and "Pacific Rim" opened at number three with $38.3 million.
 
 
                                                                        
 
 
 DC Universe animated movie "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" is based on the epic miniseries by writer Geoff Johns and artist Andy Kubert that set the stage for DC Comics to unveil their revamped titles "The New 52". Coming this Friday "RED 2" the sequel to the hit movie "RED" based on a graphic novel by writer Warren Ellis and artist Cully Hamner. The sequel stars Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, and Byung Hun Lee.
 
 
                                                                                
 
 
"R.I.P.D." starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges opens this Friday. Based on a Dark Horse Entertainment comic book by Peter M. Lenkov. When police officer Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) is killed in the line of duty he suddenly finds himself an afterlife assignment to the R.I.P.D. - Rest In Peace Department. He is partnered with R.I.P.D veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer (Jeff Bridges). Their job catching "bad souls" attempting to escape final judgement.
