Weekend Box Office - "The Maze Runner" based on the best selling book series was number one bringing it home with $32.5 million, “A Walk Among the Tombstones” starring Liam Neeson was number two with $32.1 million, and “This Is Where I Leave You" featuring a star-studded cast headed up by Jason Bateman and Tina Fey came in third with $11.9 million.
"The Boxtrolls" opens this Friday. The movie is brought to us from the makers of "Coraline" and "ParaNorman" two very unusual, yet delightful animated features. The trailer is an introduction to the world, characters, and actors of "The Boxtrolls". Enjoy!
"Godzilla" was one of the most pleasant surprises of the summer. The movie that brought big screen cred back to the "King of the Monsters". The movie was a megahit that instantly called for a sequel and earned director Gareth Edwards a spot as one of the directors to helm a "Star Wars" spin off. Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns tonight with a new season and a whole new attitude. The show delivered jaw dropping surprises last season by doing the unexpected. This season will expand that by revealing the mysteries of last season and expanding the scope of an already rich tapestry. Very exciting.
