Weekend Box Office - "Pitch Perfect 2" starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson was number one with $70.3 million, "Mad Max: Fury Road" starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron came in second with $44.3 million, and Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" held on at number three with $38.8 million.

"Poltergeist" the remake of the 80's classic that was directed by Steven Spielberg opens on Friday. Don't expect the lighter, yet still quite scary tone of the original. This remake intends to grab you by your throat as evidenced by the trailer.

"The Flash" ends its freshman season with the episode entitled "Fast Enough". The Reverse Flash's endgame is revealed and Barry does what he has been working towards all season...becomes fast enough to go back in time to save his mother. Will he succeed, and if he does what price he and everyone around him end up paying?

"iZombie" has already been picked up and will return for another season. Tonight's episode "Mr. Beserk" has Liv suffering through a bout with alcoholism courtesy of the latest murder victim in the morgue. This occurring hot on the heels of the devastating loss she suffered at the end of last week's episode.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is next season's latest offering from the creators of "Arrow" and "The Flash". Bringing together some of the most dynamic guest stars from both shows along with a few surprise entries to create a team whose mission is to stop one of the most enduring villains in the DC Universe ... the immortal Vandal Savage. More super heroic action on television from The CW Network. Count me in.

"Supergirl" will debut on CBS this fall and unlike the recent movies featuring her famous cousin, the show will have a much lighter tone. Melissa Benoist ("Glee") plays the lead role as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. Dean Cain ("Lois and Clark") and Helen Slater ("Supergirl the Movie") will play her adoptive parents, Fred and Sylvia Danvers. Calista Flockhart ("Aly McBeal") is spot on in the scene stealing role of high powered media mogul Cat Grant.
