Weekend Box Office."The LEGO Batman Movie" featuring Will Arnett as the voice of LEGO Batman was number one with $33 million, "Fifty Shades Darker" the romantic drama starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprising their "Fifty Shades of Grey" role was number two with $20.3 million, and "The Great Wall" the action thriller starring Matt Damon and from director Zhang Yimou was number three with $18.4 million.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is scheduled for March 17. The live action adaptation of beloved Disney animated feature film starring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as The Beast.Featuring an all-star cast including Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Lefou, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza,Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts. 

                                                                            

"Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2" scheduled to open in May 5.This sequel will re-introduce the team of Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot. Also returning, will be Yondo and Nebula and The Ravagers. There will be also be some new faces like the mysterious Mantis and new threats like the relentless Ayesha.

                                                                           

"Power Rangers" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 24. The re-imaging of the phenomenal television series reintroduces us to the five completely different teenagers brought together by fate and united by a shared destiny to become The Power Rangers.Together they will save their town and perhaps, the whole world as they face the threat of the evil Rita Repulsa. 

                                                                         

"King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" is scheduled to open in theaters on May12. Director Guy Ritchie gives us a new look at the Arthurian legend. Growing up as a street urchin unaware of his true destiny or purpose Arthur ( Charlie Hunnam) is not interested in power or achieving power. However, his whole life is transformed when he pulls the sword Excalibur from the stone.
