Weekend Box Office: DreamWorks Animation "Boss Baby" with Alec Baldwin voicing the title character was number one with $49 million, Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" the live-action version of the beloved animated movie was number two with $47.5 million , and "Ghost in the Shell" based on the internationally acclaimed manga and starring Scarlett Johansson was number three with $19 million.

"Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 21. The movie is based on the ground-breaking French comic book series that has served as an inspiration to writers, artists, and filmmakers for decades. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 26. Johnny Depp returns as everyone favorite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, who once again finds himself being hunted down. This time by an old enemy, Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) who has come back from the dead to rid the seas of all pirates and get revenge on the one that caused his demise, Captain Jack Sparrow.   

                                                                         

"The Mummy" is scheduled to open in theaters on June 9. This updated version of one of the classic cinematic monsters features a cast headlined by Tom Cruise as the man who unleashes this legendary horror. Sofia Boutella stars as the ancient Egyptian princess who was entombed alive and denied of her rightful destiny. Now awakened after a millennia full of malice and with wielding horrific power she intends to use to reshape the world into her own image.The movie also stars Annabelle Wallis, Courtney B. "IT" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Sept.8. Based on the popular novel by Stephen King that has terrified readers for over two decades. The town of Derry, Maine is being plagued by a rash of children disappearing without a trace. A group of kids who begin to look into the bizarre disappearances are come face to face with their worst fears when they encounter the evil clown Pennywise. The villain who is not only responsible for the current disappearances but have been causing the same type of occurrences for centuries.
