Weekend Box Office: DreamWorks Animation "Boss Baby" featuring Alec Baldwin voicing the title character was number one with $26.3 million, Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" the live-action version of the beloved animated movie was number two with $25 million, and "Smurfs: The Lost Village" the new fully CG animated Smurf adventure was number three with $14 million.

"The Fate of the Furious" opens in theaters this Friday. The latest installment in the powerhouse "Fast and the Furious" franchise pits the team against their leader, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) , who appears to have gone rogue. Now the team has to ally themselves with one of their fiercest enemies, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in order to beat Dom and the mystery woman called Cipher (Charlize Theron) who seems to be pulling his strings. The movie also features a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell, plus newcomers Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren

                                                                        
                                                                       

Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled for theaters this November.  The upcoming movie has been described as a game changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and if the trailer is any indication that's an understatement. The upcoming trailer features first looks at Cate Blanchett as Hela, Goddess of Death, Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge the Executioner, Tessa Thompson as The Valkyrie. Also featured are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. 

                                                                               

Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 5. The upcoming movie will feature the returning cast of Chris Pratt as Peter Jason Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Baby Groot, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Glenn Close as Nova Prime. Also starring, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Pom Klementieff as Mantis,and Kurt Russell as Star-Lord's father, Ego. 

                                                                                 

"Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" the latest DC Universe Animated movie is now available in Digital HD and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on April 18. This feature length animated film adapts the classic "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" story arc from the comics by Marv Wolfman and George Perez to the ongoing animated DCU. The story was teased at the end of the "Justice League vs. The Teen Titans" animated movie with the appearance of the character Terra who plays a very prominent role.
