"Spider-Man: Homecoming" opens in theaters this Friday. Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in his very own movie fresh from his appearance in "Captain America: Civil War". The movie also stars Michael Keaton as The Vulture a villain salvaging advanced technology for criminal purposes.
"Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 20. Four teenagers spending time in detention discover an old video game console for a game they've never heard of. Suddenly they are pulled into the world of Jumanji where they find themselves inhabiting their video game avatars played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black. What follows is both an adventure and a struggle for survival as they play the game in order to finish and escape for their lives.
"Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 21. Based on "Valerian and Laureline", a long running, ground breaking French comic book series now collected as a series of graphic novel stories. A passion project for director Luc Besson ("The Professional", "The Fifth Element", and "Lucy") the comic series that inspired the movie has also inspired a generation of artists, writers, and filmmakers.
Marvel's "Inhumans" the new television series scheduled to debut on ABC beginning September 29 following the release of the pilot episode in IMAX theaters on September 1. The series follows the characters created by Stan Lee and Jack KIrby "The Inhumans" who have seperated themselves from humanity and from Earth residing on the Moon in the Blue Area, a special area designed to support life. However, an uprising inspired by a movement to return to Earth threatens the safety and security of Humans and Inhumans alike.
