Weekend Box Office: Disney's "Ralph Wreaks the Internet: Wreak-It Ralph 2" the family-friendly CG animated film featuring the voices of John C, Reilly and Sarah Silverman was number one with $25.7 million; Dr. Seuss' "The Grinch" the CG animated family-friendly movie featuring the voice of actor Benedict Cumberbatch as the title character was number two with $17.7 million; "Creed II" the sequel to the 2015 movie "Creed" a continuation of the "Rocky" film franchise was number three with $16.8 million.

                                                                                 

Marvel Studios "Captain Marvel" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 8. Brie Larson portrays the iconic titular role and the latest and highly anticipated addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney's "Dumbo" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 29, 2019. Visionary director Tim Burton brings to life the classic Disney animated feature in a re-imagined live-action version in which differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, Eva Green, Finley Hobbins, and Nico Parker.

                                                                                

"Alita: Battle Angel" is scheduled to open in theaters on February 14. Two visionary filmmakers come together to create a movie inspired by a classic anime. Producer James Cameron and director Robert Rodriguez bring to life a film based on the graphic novel ("manga") series: "Gunnm" by Yukito Kishiro and adapted into a screenplay by James Cameron, Laeta Kalogridis, and Robert Rodriguez.
