There is a great deal of excitement regarding Bane. He made quite an impression since his first comic book appearance in Batman: The Vengence of Bane #1 (Janaury 1993) revealed him as one of Batman's most dangerous foes. a physical and intellectual adversary made even more dangerous by a military experiment that turned him into a virtually unstoppable juggernaut. He achieved true villainous stature when he broke Batman's back during the Knightfall story arc.

On a sad note, this past week we lost wrestling great "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a tragic car accident. In addition to being a pro-wrestling superstar he became a spokesman for Slim Jim's during the mid 90's. His distinctive style and voice combined with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh." made him an instant hit and a natural for apperances on television shows like "Walker: Texas Ranger" and for voice acting on animated shows like "Dexter's Laboratory", "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast", "King of the Hill", and "Family Guy". His most memorable apperance was as the wrestler Bonesaw in the 2002 movie "Spider-Man".
