Weekend Box Office -  Disney's "Zootopia" the animated comedy adventure featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, and Idris Elba was number one with $75 million, "London Has Fallen" the action-packed sequel to "Olympus Has Fallen" starring Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman was number two with $12.6 million, and "Deadpool" the runaway hit movie featuring Mavel's mutant "merc with a mouth" held on at number three with $16.7 million.

                                                                               

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" opens on March 18. The third installment in the "The Divergent Series" finds Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) seeking a solution to their conflict outside the walls of their city, but in their search for answers the find that their city is in more danger than they could have ever imagined. 

                                                                                                            
                                                                               

"10 Cloverfield Lane" which is essentially a sequel to the movie "Cloverfield". The movie which opens on Friday stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Goodman and goes out of its way to be mysterious and only hints of the unseen and unconfirmed danger. 

                                                                                 

"Batman v.Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25. The movie that will kick off the movie franchise featuring the heroes and villains of the DC Universe. While this movie spotlights the obvious differences between the two main characters, it also sets the groundwork by establishing DC's Trinity with the introduction of Wonder Woman and setting them against a common enemy. 

                                                                                 

Disney's "Jungle Book" opens in theaters on April 15. The movie is a live action version of one of the most beloved Disney animated movies. One of the many Disney movies we will see open this year, it is hard to imagine Disney not having a successful year at the movies. That is, as long as their movies look as amazing as this one does.
