Weekend Box Office: "The Fate of the Furious" the latest movie in the high octane "Fast and Furious" franchise was number one with $98.7 million, DreamWorks Animation "Boss Baby" featuring Alec Baldwin voicing the title character was number two with $16 million, and Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" the live action version of the beloved Disney animated movie was number three with $13.7 million.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" scheduled to open in theaters on December 15. The upcoming new movie in the "Star Wars" saga will pick up with Rey (Daisy Ridley) undergoing Jedi training under Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is scheduled to open in theaters on May5. The upcoming movie continues the star spanning adventures of Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot. The team is surrounded on all sides by enemies and under siege. When things seem like they couldn't get any worse they are faced with saving their own skins or saving the universe, yet again. 

                                                                       

"Alien: Covenant" is scheduled to open in theaters on May 15. Director Ridley Scott takes us back to the universe he created 38 years ago in "Alien". The newest chapter in the Alien franchise, Alien: Covenant re-explores the universe of terror and the horrors waiting to be unleashed. "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" is available in stores today on Blu-ray/DVD and also in Digital HD. The latest DC Universe animated feature is based on the groundbreaking 1984 comic book story arc by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. Brother Blood and Deathstroke join forces to end the lives of the Teen Titans, both with their own sinister agendas, one for power and the other for revenge. "The Fate of the Furious" opens in theaters this Friday. The latest installment in the powerhouse "Fast and the Furious" franchise pits the team against their leader, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) , who appears to have gone rogue. Now the team has to ally themselves with one of their fiercest enemies, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in order to beat Dom and the mystery woman called Cipher (Charlize Theron) who seems to be pulling his strings. The movie also features a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell, plus newcomers Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren

                                                                        
                                                                       

Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled for theaters this November.  The upcoming movie has been described as a game changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and if the trailer is any indication that's an understatement. The upcoming trailer features first looks at Cate Blanchett as Hela, Goddess of Death, Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge the Executioner, Tessa Thompson as The Valkyrie. "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" the latest DC Universe Animated movie is now available in Digital HD and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on April 18. This feature length animated film adapts the classic "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" story arc from the comics by Marv Wolfman and George Perez to the ongoing animated DCU. "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 21. The movie is based on the ground-breaking French comic book series that has served as an inspiration to writers, artists, and filmmakers for decades. "IT" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Sept.8. Based on the popular novel by Stephen King that has terrified readers for over two decades. Weekend Box Office:Disney's "Beauty and The Beast" the live action version of the beloved Disney animated movie was number one with $88.3 million, "Power Rangers" the updated version of the popular 90's television phenomenon was number two with $40.5 million, and "Kong: Skull Island" the classic movie monster, King Kong, re-imagined for a whole new generation was number three with $14.4 million. 

                                                                               

"Ghost in the Shell" opens in theaters this Friday. The internationally acclaimed manga by Masamune Shirow comes to life on the big screen as a live-action movie. The successful manga has spawned a popular anime series and more than a few anime films. This live-action big budget movie is directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Scarlett Johansson as The Major leader of the covert anti-terrorist unit known as Section 9. 

                                                                                   

                                           
"Justice League" is scheduled to open in theaters in November. Following the events of "Batman v. Weekend Box Office: "Kong: Skull Island" the re-imagining of the most famous of movie monsters King Kong was number one with $61 million, "Logan" starring Hugh Jackman as the adamantium laced, claw-wielding X-Man was number two with $37.8 million, and "Get Out" the breakout thriller by writer/director Jordan Peele was number three with $21 million.  

                                                                                

"Wonder Woman" is scheduled for June 2, 2017. Director Patty Jenkins brings the origin story of the Amazing Amazon to the big screen. Diana, princess of the Amazons has trained to be a fierce and invincible warrior on the secluded island paradise.The arrival of a downed American pilot on their shores bringing news of a war raging in the outside world convinces Diana to leave home in a quest to end the threat to the entire world. 

                                                                           
         

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" the live action re-imagining of the beloved Disney animated movie opens in theaters this Friday. The movie stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as The Beast. Danny Rand returns after being missing and presumed dead for fifteen years.
